I think he got his lambo ruined in the previous gulf course storm that hit like 2 years ago. (Now I’m wishing I recalled full details of what he actually did mention happened in that storm a couple years back)

Ian - yeah I think Cape Coral got hammered in that one.  That was the one that leveled Ft. Myers, and Cape Coral is just north of there.  We have friends that lost their condo to Ian - they renovated it, sold it and bought a house last year.  They are likely going back to their house having been inundated with water from the storm surge last night.  Mother nature is a btch.

Be honest, what do you guys think of this?

I wanna put my dank plank in your stank tank

Is that not brilliant?

Pretty sure he's in the Cape Coral area - so a few hours south of Tampa.  They'll still get hit pretty hard - that gulf coast has been hammered the past couple years.

Cape Coral, the good Captain told me about a good Eagles bar in Ft. Myers.

If his Lambo was in the driveway 2 years ago it didn't get ruined, it's now part of a barrier reef.  A 14' surge came in and took everything that was not bolted down back out to the Gulf with it.  And if that wasn't bad enough, it kept doing it with decreasing depths.  I think it was to make sure that the mobile park right next to the Gulf, that was Grandfathered in, was wiped off the face of the Earth.  If that's not proof of a God, well, nothing is.

Rank, crank and flank could also work.

I’m a laid back guy, rolls with whatever comes. One thing that irks me though is waiting 10, 15, 20 minutes or more for the check after we’re finished eating. Quit wasting my life.

I'm here. Yes I'm in Cape Coral. SW Corner of the town.   No power. House did ok. New tile roof last year held up well. Tree and fence damage mostly.  Lost the Lambo and wife's SUV to Ian in 2022. That house ended up with more damage then what we wanted to deal with so sold it to a cash buyer is as. In hindsight we should have kept it with the way home prices surged down here.  Wife and I have had more then a few talks about leaving Florida.  My daughter is a junior in HS and will be going to PSU. At that point we are free to go wherever we want. Leaning towards Tennessee but who knows. I really don't know what florida homeowners are going to do with their insurance rate issue.  These storms are making it impossible to afford to live here for any kind of service workers or mid tier earners. My homeowners insurance in 2021 before Ian,  was 3100 a year. My renewal after Ian spiked it to 6500. And renewal this year went to 7300. Now with back to back storms in helene and Milton, i can only assume my next renewal will be 8-9k.  We have had enough.  It's just not worth it

My friends in Ft. Myers didn't have any damage on their house either.  They said the surge stopped at the trailer park down the street.   Of course it did.

My dad's house in Homestead needed more touchup work than I had the funds to provide (nor the physical ability living 1000+ miles away) -- but I sold that house in mediocre condition for $235k I think (early 2020) and now I get Zillow monthly emails saying that bish is worth like $490k 😭

Ya, the market went off the rails in 2023. Slowly coming down but I don't think we will ever see pre 2023 prices.

I bought a townhouse in Minnesota after 1 year of renting, and while the prices of these skyrocketed in the late teens, they've plateaued since I've been here. Identical unit two down from mine sold June 2018 for $232,500. I bought mine Dec 2021 for $290-295k. Then the unit 2 down sold July 2022 for $313k (a few others in the 30-units we have sold on around $310 - $335k with the upper end being the end units that technically have 1 more bedroom). In the last 18 months or so, all listed/selling seem to be going in the $300-310K range.

what do you use for reliable service when ordering Eagles merch. 2nd time in as many months where I ordered something(s) and the pending process appears to be stuck, even with expediated shipping selected. always seems to be Fanatics based (ie. nfl shop)

fanatics seems to have nearly a monopoly. It seems fanatics, nfl.com, and pro shop through eagles website all have the same exact inventory. So its all through fanatics.

I think the only way around it may be to see if places like Champs, finish line, foot locker, lidz, the manufacturer directly like nike.com has something in stock.

Or you could go in person to the eagles pro shop locations or a rally house.

This is probably the best option for folks living in San Antonio.

yesterday I contacted their CS (online chat) concerning pending status, suddenly the status converts to shipping with UPS notice (uhuh) right on cue this morning, shipping delayed per NFL Shop/Fanatics experience but I get $10 fast cash towards my next purchase (old fashion motion while reading) and UPS now states they have a tracking number but have not received the package.
