Some loser tried to order a PS5 and a $200 bottle of perfume. Luckily nothing got charged to my account - when I went in to check it and change my password, I clicked on the orders and I have the dude's address If anyone wants to send him something nice. I'll also be reporting all the information I have to the local FBI office. My HelloFresh got hacked 6 months ago and they were loading up on all the premium options and maximum number of meals. I think by week 3 of this one of my fraud detections caught it. Some a-hole in Indianapolis, whose address I had. If it was local I would have gone and tossed some bricks through their windows or something similarly inconvenient for them. 9 hours ago, mr_hunt said: ethical question for everyone. i know you guys still listen to 80's hairbands but hypothetically is it okay to listen to R Kelly's music? what about watching Harvey Weinstein produced movies like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, or Gangs of New York? or maybe gather the fam in front of the tv for a Cosby Show marathon? where do you draw the line? Similar topic came up online this past week. Something to the effect of "if a rapist can be elected president, I can start listening to r Kelly again”

I have not watched that one yet, but I also have not been playing his music in some time either. Not that I am avoiding his music -- it just never was in any kind of rotation for me -- although I might bump some Cookie if I had someone to get nasty with

No. Anyone who's anyone know that 90% of women only swipe/match with the top 10% of men on the Apps. I've had enough man hooring in my younger, fitter, more desirable days that I'm not going to settle for a hookup with some "four" just to get laid. It probably also doesn't help that in 2025 I'll be "a man! I'm 40!" and 80% of women north of 33 on dating apps look like they're 47 and me at 39 can still pass for close to 30*ish (** 100% if I stop being lazy and drop 30-40lbs ). I'm effectively a decade older than women that are late 20s-to-early 30s, so they still have viable options closer to them in age, and the women who are nearing 40 and don't look old/haggard probably want a guy that has that "matured" look of someone in their 40s versus a guy they'll be envious of looking a decade younger than them. In either case I'm "telling myself" for the umpteenth time that I am going to start getting to the gym and getting myself in shape when I get back from Thanksgiving trip to visit family.

You may not be top 10% for the hotties to swipe on, but you are getting up there to sugar daddy status right? Drop a few pounds and I think youll be swimming in puss again.

More of a: the 20% of women my age-bracket who don't look 10+ years older than they are going for guys with that "distinguished gentleman" look, and the women who are 30 have such a deep pool to swim in still they don't have no reason to be looking in the almost-40 end of the pool. I am watching this 3 part pre-fight thing on Netflix though so I'll try to see what gems I can find on Tinder for 35-39yo women.
November 16, 2024Nov 16 These were the first 5. I’m not sure why damn near every one of them has a kid.
November 16, 2024Nov 16 Agent they are women in their mid 30s - statistically most of that demographic is going to have kids

For the 15-25% that just have general life circumstances where they don't work out long term, the other 75%+ were just morons who created a kid through irresponsibility or were in a toxic/terrible relationship and were like "having a kid will fix things!". In both cases these people are morons (or just terrible decision makers) that I want nothing to do with, and the odds of them being in the 15-25% range are not in my favor.

November 16, 2024Nov 16 You love to come up with excuses lol. Since you like numbers - dating is a numbers game. You have to put yourself out there 100 times to even find a couple that may be worth the effort of a second date. You don’t have to marry all these women or even sleep with them. Just go out with a few to meet new people, hone your dating skills, get out of your house. If you start working out and start going on dates you might actually get some swagger.

Sadly I look at that as me potentially wasting their time as hopefully these are people also hoping to find a long-term partner. I know bettering myself (the physical-benefits of improving my body, along with the superficial ones) will improve my results as well as improving the options I appeal to, so I have spent little-to-no time attempting or pursing anything (even the easiness/laziness of swiping) because I'm aware I need to create a more desirable version of myself to improve chances of landing opportunities with the people I desire.
