June 15, 20205 yr @Paul852 @Agent23 Ya all know how I'm doing those freebie simulated games and winning a nickle her and a quarter there. Yesterday I hit on a MLB lineup, came in 3rd place out of almost 51,000 and won $15. My FanDuel account has now increased $52 since sports shut down
June 15, 20205 yr My draft kings stock (purchased at $472 in volume) was as high as $992, but now is down to $816

Did he have daughters at like 16 years old or did he not land a job in his field until he was in his 30s?

He was in the army for a while and has bounced around at different jobs he really loves working with computers . Last fall through spring he took computer coding in Denver and graduated just when the corona virus hit. He's in his early 30's seems very happy to actually finally be doing something he loves.

I have actually increased my accounts between UFC/Nascar. Golf, soccer, darts, and korean baseball...I don't think I've won a dime between them. I'm trying to slow down until real sports comes back.

Where I was a bit mixed on moving to Minnesota, I am warming up to it more as I look at it more as an opportunity to experience something new and get out of my repetitive routine, as well as continuing a job/position I really enjoy.
June 15, 20205 yr I was curios how much my Costco 2% rewards check is going to be and when I'm going to get it. Apparently we are up to $274. If you do the math, that means we spent $13700 there in a year

Busting my arse for over 4 years to finally receive something my older co-worker (who I think everyone in our office would say I outperform) has been receiving for the past 10 years of just going through the motions and doing just enough to not get put his job at risk.
June 18, 20205 yr So I’m having a time tonight. An old neighbor of mine from my childhood signed mr Di’s guestbook and said she knew I had strength in me for the road ahead. I’m barely across the line of scrimmage without him and Friday I have to go back to that place to see his mother. And deal with my dysfunctional in laws and step family. My kids seem ok for now cause they know I don’t break down in front of them. I feel it’s gonna happen. I can’t hold onto the ball! I fumbled and bought a pack of smokes. F it. My daughter asked me if the world was ending. How do I protect them from all this ish even though they are adults? They need me and I need them. Sorry to carry on. I am finding some peace in knowing Mr Di got up there and said, i got you Mom and came and got her. They are reunited. We are left with the memories and God willing picking the ball back up and heading to the end zone.
June 18, 20205 yr Di, I'm so sorry! I did not realize that Mr Di had moved on from this world. My heart is breaking for you. Stay strong and remember that we are all here if you ever need a virtual shoulder to lean on.
June 18, 20205 yr Just found out that they are stopping treatment on my dad. His cancer is still fairly stable, but his liver is shutting down. He now has jaundice. My understanding is that at this point the amount of time he has left is entirely dependent on how much longer his liver is able to support his basic bodily function. They're going to do bloodwork for the next 4 weeks and try to get a feel for how quickly it is shutting down, which will give them an idea of how much longer he might have.
