It would need to bite down and chew on you for a while, and all you will probably get is a rash and maybe some swelling. i mostly see those tiny ringed-neck snakes around my house....and sometimes in the glue traps. and they're the reason we started using the pest service in the first place. a couple of them got into our basement when we first moved in & the wife was ready to put the house up for sale.

I was told the same thing, but their fangs are too soft to pierce our skin
