Frankly having a veteran out there... helps a little.

Now. But seven weeks ago... it looked really bad.

That throw to Scott may have been a top five throw from Wentz in his career. That was pretty incredible with how tight that window was and how small Boston is.

Yup. Great throw and catch. Watching live I was hesitant he gained control on his way down.

I’ve never said that. Just to be clear.

I know

So injuries tonight were

  • Hassan Ridgeway
  • Lane Johnson
  • Desean Jackson
  • Craig James

Did I miss anyone?

Where did all the Wentz haters that only post in here when he's playing bad go?

Playing with their Wentz voodoo dolls hoping he blows his knee

I didn’t want anyone to read your response and assume I did since I’m a known Wentz hater.

Injured Giants fans hearts yet again

Before the game, I mentioned that Eagles-Giants games are always weird.  Just how it always goes.

Like I’ve seen a lot of rivalry games and Eagles Giants is always crazy. There’s always some sort of crazy finish or some team wins the game that shouldnt won the game. If I were a Giants fan I would just give up when playing the Eagles. It feels like for two decades the Eagles are just somehow managed to find ways to win games even when they had no business winning them against them

I think Wentz is the story of the night.  He's done a 180 from 4 weeks ago.  Most passes are on point and he looks much more mobile.  I'm convinced he was playing with some sort of "unknown" injury during the first 3-4 game.

Clash of the titans coming up with Eagles and Cowboys. How can you not be excited for this scintillating matchup?

Sure.  7 weeks ago they didn't have Herbig, Opeta, Mailata, Fulgham, and Hightower (and previously Driscoll) on the field constantly.  Now they need a veteran presence.

Welp, Eagles won this game from defensive turnovers. Damn near lost is on awful red zone performance. Boston Scott really contributed.  Fulgham kind of came to earth.  DJax to IR based on that play.  Either a high ankle or a knee. OL under constant pressure. The all 22 will be interesting this week.

If 6 for 73 is coming back down to Earth then I'll take it.  He had a similar stat line last week after his breakout game vs the Stillers.  Over the course of a season that's 80-90 receptions for nearly 1200 yards.

Both of our wins have been "we are a bad football team, but I’m happy for a Wentz to lead a comeback” makes for some pretty annoying and exhausting fandom.

I've never gotten the hatred around here for him.  He's not a stud, but he's just a steady vet.

He was maddening to watch tonight. Some good plays and some plays that were just terrible like the throw across his body and the INT. He has it and shows glimpses of it like he did on those last two drives, but the inconsistency is frustrating. But he's working with half a deck both on the field and on the sideline. Doug is going to get him killed and can't adapt his playcalling to the situation.

Lol, I’m not sure Rodgers has a presence out there, but he had a big game tonight. I don’t want to pee in his Cheerios so I’ll leave it at that.

Honestly he's maddening. He plays like crap or elite

So what you're saying is he's Nick Foles.

I'm sure that win will hurt us in drafting some very nice offensive lineman but it was great to see a win

It's going to be 5-10-1. And an NFCE crown.

Wentz made some clutch plays down the stretch. One of the best of his career to Scott. Granted the Giants defense Fed up majorly leading up to that, but still that throw was money.

On a side note, everybody wave goodbye to Ja'Marr Chase

The WRs were not the problem on offense tonight. Bad OL play, woof.

The OL was the primary issue. Opeta got killed and Herbig couldnt anchor against Lawrence.  I think having some film on Mailata helped them no what pass moves he struggles with but he didn’t have as bad of a game as I think some here think he did.

Lane was pre-existing and Desean doesn't count.

So injuries were Craig James and Hassan Ridgeway.
