Both of our wins have been "we are a bad football team, but I’m happy for a Wentz to lead a comeback” makes for some pretty annoying and exhausting fandom.

Beats losing those games.  And Wentz is doing it with spare parts and broken tools.

How are they insane if he goes and plays somewhere else?

Lol, I’m not sure Rodgers has a presence out there, but he had a big game tonight. I don’t want to pee in his Cheerios so I’ll leave it at that.

Its one less guy that they need to coddle.  He knows how to prepare for an NFL game, where to line up, how to read a defense, read a blitz, etc.   It helps.

The Wentz bashing makes for some pretty annoying and exhausting fandom as well

Where did all the Wentz haters that only post in here when he's playing bad go?

Back under their rocks.

We lose plenty of those too. It’s been a long couple of seasons. It’s taking a toll.

If 6 for 73 is coming back down to Earth then I'll take it.  He had a similar stat line last week after his breakout game vs the Stillers.  Over the course of a season that's 80-90 receptions for nearly 1200 yards.

He probably could’ve had better numbers if not for either better passes and he also had 2 I thought he should’ve caught. He played well could’ve been a bigger performance. Also don’t discount his ability to draw the penalty on that last drive

You mean Evan Engram dropping an easy first down catch?

Not mad, it's just the truth.

They were down two scores with 6 minutes left, came back to win, and within 5 mins you’re talking about draft position after Week 7. If they are as bad as you think they are they are losing the next two games and plenty more and the precious draft position will be fine. Enjoy embarrassing a division rival and let the rest of the ish play itself out.

So what you're saying is he's Nick Foles.

Nick has good and bad stretches Carson seems to have good and bad quarters

I've never gotten the hatred around here for him.  He's not a stud, but he's just a steady vet.

Exactly, he’s like a slightly smaller Celek.  He has good hands and knows how to settle down and make a catch against zone coverages.

Mailata and Fulgham both had their worst games of the year and that's OK.  It's going to be important to see how they bounce back.

Dick Rod looked pretty good running around out there.  If/When they trade Ertz this spring I would be OK with him backing up Goedert as long as they bring in a talented rookie.

The OL was the primary issue. Opeta got killed and Herbig couldnt anchor against Lawrence.  I think having some film on Mailata helped them no what pass moves he struggles with but he didn’t have as bad of a game as I think some here think he did.

I wonder how much of playing next to Opeta for the 1st time plus his first time playing 2 games within 5 days of each other affected him?  I'm willing to give him a Mulligan tonight, especially if he comes back strong vs the Cowgirls.

Lane was pre-existing and Desean doesn't count.

So injuries were Craig James and Hassan Ridgeway.

Lane's injury is an additional one. He now has a knee and ankle injury per the Troy and Buck during the game

It's going to be 5-10-1. And an NFCE crown.

And that really sucks.

Of course... tons of injuries to whole position groups makes it tough too.

Lane Johnson was reported to have suffered a knee injury in addition to the ankle though. I'm not sure I'd say that doesn't count, at least until we know the severity of the injury.

I still can't believe Carson made that throw to Scott. That window was incredibly small. Perfect throw.

Yeah, but he's not nearly the blocker Celek was.

In all seriousness I think it's looking pretty obvious how this season is gonna go. "Good" enough to either win the division or pick in the late teens, but not good enough to do anything in January.

Being stuck in the middle is the worst place to be in sports. Not good enough to get excited about a Super Bowl, not bad enough to get excited about high draft picks and a rebuild.

I just wish one way or the other this team would just break in one single direction instead of the meddling BS.

Alright I gotta get up in 4.5 hours

It depends on how you define bashing. There are some that are way over the top, but he brings it on himself too.

Someone needs to have a conversation with Lane and just shut him down. No one is questioning his toughness, but it's getting to the point where it's just ridiculous now.

I'm feeling 8-7-1.
