I still can't believe Carson made that throw to Scott. That window was incredibly small. Perfect throw.

Reminded me of that TD throw he made to Clement vs the Foreskins to be named later team.  In fact, if someone could make a gif of those 2 players side by side I bet they'd look very similar.

And credit to Scott for making that catch.  Top drawer to both of them for that bang-bang GW TD play.

After the bye, I'd like to see them settle in with a WR corps of Hightower at Z and Reagor at X, with Fulgham and Ward platooning in the slot.

I still think Fulgham is best served navigating underneath traffic and drifting into soft spots in zone.  You can bring him out wide to make some plays along the sideline in coverage or in the end zone now and again, but I think he's going to be best served as a #3 slot type in Ward's role.  Ward and Fulgham on the field, together, sucks things in a bit.  I'd rather just one and roll with Reagor/Hightower outside.

For that to make any sense, Hightower needs to become a receiver, which he is not right now.  He just turns on the jets downfield, shakes loose, and runs under a rainbow once per game right now.  They'll need more than that.

Let Fulgham play the X and slot. Let Reagor play the X, slot and Z. Let Hightower play some Z. Let Ward play a little slot. That four-man rotation is fine by me. Fulgham needs to play the second most snaps at WR. I know he’s not fast enough for you, but he’s earned it by having four straight productive games.

Carson fights too hard for me to root for them to go in the other direction for draft slot sake. And I don't trust Howie with his drafting anyway, so that's a crapshoot. If Wentz was half-a**ing it and looking lethargic, I could see it. But he fights hard and I want to see him win.

I mean I want to see him win too, but what any of us want is futile. He could battle until he collapses on the field, but we just don't have the talent to compete. And then we'll sitting there in April in that "dead zone" of the draft 20-26 where all the first round graded guys are just about gone and watch Howie get cute and take some safety from West El Paso State.

At least in the top 10 we have a history of making some pretty good picks. The 20's is when we always make our worst picks. Watkins, Marcus Smith, Dillard, etc

One of the best long passes all year for Wentz...

Man, that wasn’t even his best pass tonight.

Yeah, my wife definitely was shaking her head at me a lot tonight. She was probably reevaluating her life choices.

I believe mine does that regularly.

That was Sanders

No way. This OL is one more injury away from complete catastrophe. If Kelce gets hurt, we may not win another game this year. I'm not even kidding.

That could be true... but they will win the next 3.   Giants weird games lead to winning streaks.

2019 - Eagles coming off a loss to the Dolphins, squeak out a win over the Giants... 4 game winning streak to propel them to the Playoffs.
2017 - 61 yard FG to win the Game... 9 game winning streak to really take them to the top seed in the NFC.
2018 is the outlier.

They will beat the Cowboys, beat the Giants and then beat the Browns.  5-4-1.

If my aunt had balls...

Stoutland is the run game coordinator. I’m not sure he feels like he can do anything but the most vanilla stuff with the revolving door at OL.

That could be.  But a sweep, or a counter, or even an old school draw once in a while.

nice catch but come on Hightower, use your speed and keep running to the far pylon.  Why are you cutting back towards the defender?  The linebacker was there with an OK angle but have some confidence in your speed.

Deep ball pass...bruh.  The pass to Scott was probably his best of the night

Were you the one who said you yell at the TV multiple times "F you, Gerry!" during a game?  If she's stuck with you this long I think she's in it for the long haul.  LOL

Yep. The throw to Scott for the go ahead was probably the best unless I’m forgetting something. Wentz seems hellbent on shaking that "not a clutch QB” label from years past.

I was thinking of 2017 where Wentz was getting hit as he threw the ball into the corner of the EZ and Clement made a great catch with a defender on his back.

I liked the cut. Frankly, him catching the ball was good enough.

I thought of that same play when he made that throw to Boston tonight.

You and your love of speed.  Reagor in the Z, Fulgham in the X, with some relief by JJAW, although at this point I would like to see JJAW in the Perkins role. Ward and Hightower platooning in the slot when Hightower doesn’t give some relief in the Z and when they go four or five deep, adding Quez into the mix.

It was just the one time! Luckily she was in our basement playing with the kids.

yup... baby steps.  Track it, catch it.   Anything after that was gravy.

No, he's not fast enough for me, but a good WR is a good WR.  And if a guy can ultimately get open, that's all that matters.  The real issue is that we don't have the offense to complement him at X.  12 personnel when guys are healthy, and a slow Ward in the slot when we go 11.  And offense with one designated speed WR at Z is predictable and one dimensional.

2 WRs in that mold open things up.

Boom.

I love winning and the NFL has issued an edict saying that's how to do it.  Personally, I enjoy a bruising football team.  But that's an old sport that has died.

The guys really learned a lot from those two close losses to Ravens and Steelers.   Plus they left a lot of points on the board.  That wasn't pretty but still a good win, Division Wins count for much more too.   Let's get this mini Bi Week, take care of the Boys and get a full Bye week.  The Schedule is good for us to get healthy.
