RG, LB, and CB/S need to be addressed. Brooks has an outside shot of coming back. Bringing in an actual LB would be nice - or maybe giving your 3rd round pick a shot. CB is just bad behind Slay. If they can get a CB at the trade deadline, if they are in fact buyers as rumors speculate, I wouldn’t be opposed. The Eagles are going to make the playoffs most likely so might as well make the most of it as we will be picking in the 20s

Can we say at this point that Fulgham is now absolutely legit? What a player we have there.

Would like to see him bulk up a bit and wear #81. No reason.

When I see that #13 I still think it is Agholor. Won't be long though until those nightmare memories are long behind us.

was the team in the red zone 4 times and came up empty? , i know they had a missed FG , a pick and a turnover on downs. can't remember if there was a 4th but that can't happen along with doug and his early 2 point try , i get the late one but if he kicks the FG earlier the team didn't need the later  2 point try. doug needs to be better at HC and he needs a play caller

The last one was technically after graham strip the ball and we got it back and just kneeled the clock out

I’m more mad at Graham forgetting what the hell he was supposed to do.

The Giants scored three TDs tonight...

1) LeBlanc for whatever reason tried to strip Tate instead of tackle him.

2) Graham didn’t have contain on Jones‘ 80-yard run.

3) LeBlanc needlessly grabbed Tate’s arm for a DPI on third down.

Those were killers. The defense was really good tonight, but three bad individual plays just wiped it out.

I’d argue the third down play where Evan engram just drop the ball was a bad play by the Eagles defense. They were just fortunate that he dropped a wide-open football. Otherwise the game would’ve been over

Two things need to be cleaned up ASAP:

1) the OL; and

2) the red zone play calling.

I would also include the red zone defense is atrocious. They are the fourth worst team in the NFL. They’ve given up 18 touchdowns on 24 trips.and one of the stops was only because Washington gave it to them with 30 seconds left on the clock and they were just trying to run out the clock. So really it’s 18 touchdowns on 23 trips

I would also say the Eagles third-down offense has been horrific the last two weeks. They are seven for 25 over the last two weeks. On the season they’ve had 99 attempts on third downs and they’ve been in 3 down and 7+ On 47 of those 99 attempts. That’s 47% of the time they are in third and 7+. It’s why they’re only converting at 43% on the year.

Yeah the red zone defense has been atrocious! I thought it was a staple of a Schwartz defense that "yards don't matter" and "bend don't break" but this year the red zone defense has been more like the parting of the red sea.

I think it's been the last 3 weeks hasn't it? Going in to the Pittsburgh game they third down defense was ranked in the top 10 in the NFL (I am sure I heard that) but they have been awful in the last 3 games giving up so many 3rd and longs!

I was talking more about the third down offense. They were actually good in Pittsburgh on third down offense. 10-14 at Pittsburgh. They’ve been atrocious the last two weeks on offense on third down. The major issue with their offense on third down is 47% of the time they are in third and long (3rd and 7+). It’s really hard to win on third down when you are consistently having to go seven or more yards. Even in the Steelers game where they were really good on third down they had to try and convert I want to say nine times on 3rd and 7+

The third down defense tonight was OK. The Giants were only 3-10 on third down. However if Evan Engram catches that third down it looks different. They are 4-10. Eagles would’ve given up back to back third down and longs to the Giants at the end of the game (3rd and 9 to Shepard on the td drive). The last three weeks the Eagles defense has given up 20-41 on third down. The Steelers game skews it cause they converted on 11-15. Meanwhile giants and ravens 9-26 (34.6)

I was very impressed with Rodgers.  He gets YAC and seems to push through and run fast.  Led the team in Receiving yards today.  Also once again Travis was very consistent.  Desean definitely drew a lot of attention from D.

Fulgham wasnt really having a good game but then he made a big play so people will remember that and have a different opinion.

Wow, another game almost lost because of absolute dogs*** play-calling by Doug.  Hard to imagine we have to watch 9 more games of it.  There has to be a change next year.

That said, I loved the comeback.  21-10, I wrote them off.  But that was fun, at least for this moment.

Also, Fulgham is a beast.  I've been saying it since camp.

...

:mellow2:

Well I would say that there was a combination of things but the play calling was indeed part of the problem. I think Doug needs to remember that he is down to the cleaning crew on offense and he just can't go for it all the time now as well. O-line gets no push. Oh and what's up with Elliot?

shhhhh, you'll jinx it.

Carson played his ass off down the stretch and led the team back again...but he sure made it hard on himself with some of his own play in the Q2 and Q3.

And why put China Doll Jackson in to return a punt?

Miracle of the meadowlands 3. That said it was a dirty late hit that injured him.

Stoutland is the run game coordinator. I’m not sure he feels like he can do anything but the most vanilla stuff with the revolving door at OL.

Seriously.  I don’t think people stop and think what having 6 different o-line combinations (so far) really means

LMFAO.....I had to be up early.....the Giants scored to go up 11 and I said f this...went to bed.  Did I miss something??

Yeah. We scored but failed on a 2PC. Then Evan Engram couldn’t hang on to a 3rd down pass that would have essentially sealed the game. We drove down and we’re looking at a 4th and goal when a DPI gave us new downs. Kelce knocked us back 15 yards with a face mask, then Wentz hit Scott for the go ahead/GW TD, followed by a Graham strip sack that sealed the game.

You are right you are right.

Travis Fulgham is legit... legitimately bad... 👀

Nobody noticed I think we are all good.

I can basically say with a 100% certainty, if I had stayed up to watch that slop.....the Eagles would have lost.

It depends on how you define bashing. There are some that are way over the top, but he brings it on himself too.

He does at times.  He can be maddening.  The issue I have with him is he is too smart to be that dumb at times.   I don’t doubt his intelligence at all...I think he understands the game better than most. The issue is confidence.  A high level of confidence, like he has, is good...but when a player has unique physical gifts (and he does...and he knows it), then they often think they can put lipstick on a pig every play.

He’s too smart to think that way given his current set of circumstances he has to work with.  If he can just learn to eliminate that aspect...he would be elite.

Absolutely right on the hit, but I'm not sure that exposing him after years of being gimpy was a perfect call.

You guys can thank me for the win.

I was so pissed off at the beginning of the 4th quarter that i went to bed.

What evidence is there of his superior intelligence?   He appears to be quite the contrary.   He is reckless and gets by on his physical talents, which isn't a bad thing, but he makes an awful lot of bonehead decisions for someone considered to be so smart.
