The idea that Alshon would have any trade value whatsoever is a pipe dream guys.

Hightower in the role of Z deep threat doesn't need to be all pro for the team to be successful. Eagles won the super bowl with torrey Smith putting up less production than pinkston.

If hightower can come in and consistently stretch the field and catch the catchable balls thrown his way he'll be fine. Right now he's shown he can run a deep route he hasn't shown he can highpoint a pass like Pinkston could and his hands have been shakey and he's still a rookie and should only get better.

Pinkston had a pretty good jump from rookie to 2nd to 3rd year before falling off Abit then getting hurt but if hightower can put up similar numbers as Pinkston did his 2nd 3rd year as a 5th rounder I'll be pleased and so should the eagles.

Reagor, Hightower, Fulgham and Ward will be a good young group.

Speed they have - they've got Adams and MVS's one bankable trait is his speed.  But he just can't hack it as a starter on the outside.

If I were them I'd be looking at someone more like Golden Tate.  MVS can take the top off the defense, Tate can eat them up underneath and get some YAC.

Alshon's busted.

Adams isn’t a speed receiver. MVS is a speed guy who’s been wildly inconsistent. Adams ran a 4.56 forty. Heck Noah fant a tight end ran a faster forty at 4.51 than Adams. Adams is a lot like Greg Jennings who didn’t have great speed but was able to find space and utilize his other traits to be a very good WR in the league. But his speed isn’t his best trait nor what he’s known for.

they also have Lazard coming back. Who they really like. Was actually playing really well before he had his injury. He’s also not a big speed guy. I’m guessing if the Packers were going to make a move it would be an upgrade over MVS because MVS has been disappointing while Lazard has been out and When Adams was out.

He wasn't active. Went with 5 WRs. I think butler being the 3rd TE as a big WR allowed them to go only 5 wr,I'd rather see watkins

Watkins was redundant to DeSean and Hightower. With Desean out, expect Watkins to play against Dallas.

Unless both Jeffrey and Reagor return.  Then those two plus Ward, Fulgham, Hightower, and JJAW would be your 6.

Couple he should have caught and didn't.  The ones he did were for Ward yardage. Was something like 4 for 33 yards at one point. With some drops.

But then he finally made a big play and now everyone thinks he was great again.

I'm rewatching the game right now, and his drop in the end zone was horrendous.  It was almost like Hightower, where his hands didn't even touch the ball somehow.  His footwork was also bad, because even if he catches it, he would have stepped out.  It was a perfect throw from Wentz, but that's ignored from the people that want to stick to their narrative that he was "ice cold."

Wonder if JJAW has any trade value?

Im wary of a guy in the league for 4 years with 3 years of absolutely no improvement at all suddenly playing well in his contract year.

Also, he has set the bar so low that even I have been excited about his breakout so far. And yet I looked up his stats and hes still just on pace for 8 sacks.

Thats a huge improvement for him. And if he can be a consistent 8 sack guy then he was almost worth his draft slot.

But.... its been easy to get carried away in the excitement that hes finally able to do some productive things.

Hes probably worth the 10M 5th year option at this point. Hes still not really worth more than that.

If they want to extend him, ok. But be careful.

A glowing HE endorsement!  Extend him now Howie before HE changes HE's mind!

Yup should have at least caught it, would have landed out of bounds though. Tough catch.

If he keeps up that pace, he would have an 8 sack season in half the time it took Graham to get there.  And when Graham finally got there we won the Superbowl, so.........................

Maybe joe douglas still has a hard on for him. Could unload him for a 6th 7th???

That's part of my point that he did not need to step out with the first foot.  It was bad footwork in the back of the end zone.  The replay shows that ball dropped in there beautifully.  It's almost like he overshot it or thought it was going to sail since he let that ball go right through his arms.

Give graham some credit this year, he has 6 sacks in 7 games. On pace to be double digits for the first time in his career. He should get there considering he still has the cowboys twice, Washington and giants on the docket.

Yeah maybe, still a tough catch.

Always loved graham thought he looked good as a rookie then got hurt then the switch to 34  then played well as a 34 LB then came on strong under Schwartz.

Guy might not have eye popping stats but his relentless motor and effort is all pro.!

Interesting to see what next games O-line looks like. Peters/Pryor at RT? Herbig/Spain at G? Browns not the answer, and after last night I'm not sure why they are so protective of Opeta either.
