It shows it in the top right. But after a few seconds an add pops up and covers it. One of those things they need to fix.

Ward isn't horrible.  He just has a bad case of Jordan Matthews syndrome.  He's the best we have and, therefore, fans and coaches alike have a higher opinion of him, use him more, and will expect more of him in the future than they should...to the detriment of the team.

Did I miss the part where the team signed him to a big contract? I don't think the coaches are confused about what Greg Ward is and what he can do. I am sure if a potential superstar receiver is dangled in front of them, their first thought won't be, "well, we already have Greg Ward."

The football gods can be cruel

In case anyone had some pipe dream about getting Thomas

For any cap heads, spotrac has a cool new feature where you can cut, restructure or trade players and it will automatically calculate your new cap for you

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/tools/roster/philadelphia-eagles/2021/

This team won't be truly restock their talent to SB contending levels until every player in the top 10 (besides Slay and Wentz) and their associated cap hits vanish from the roster.

We already have Fulgham, and he doesn’t punch his teammates.

So Ward is basically a better version of Avant?  Got it.

If that’s what you got out of my post, so be it.

Well, you compared the two and only mentioned what Ward does better.

Didn’t they just give him a massive new contract this off-season or last?

DeVonta Smith catches everything.

So he’s Greg Ward?

Have you ever seen them both together?

What’s with the Ward argument?

I was about to add this to my post. 🤣

Over/under on the Clemson game is 62.

Clemson scored to go to 40-21 and went for 2. Very suspicious.

Meh.  Up by 3 TD's instead of 20 points.  Not a big difference between being up by 20 vs 19 points if they did not convert it.

I haven’t. One is always within six yards of the line of scrimmage and the other is down the field.

Well, if Syracuse score 3 tds....

Some people like receivers who average 5.8 yards per target for some reason. I don’t understand it either.

Waddle is headed to the hospital in an ambulance. Damn.

Awful

How about watching some film?  This isn't a knock on Wentz but Fulgham gets separation and is open on a consistent basis even when he's not targeted.

I haven't seen him miss too many passes.  The few that he has missed usually would have been "tough catches" and likely could have been thrown better.   But overall, the guy has really good hands, imo.  And I only expect him to get better.

I expect him to get better as well.  But he has bobbled some catches including a TD vs Baltimore and SF.  But he caught it so it doesnt matter but just would like to see some of his catches a little more clean.  If he's going against good CBs, those bobbled catches could get knocked away.

Maybe people prefer a 5.8 yard catch to a drop or incompletion due to not being able to get separation.

It's all we have right now so what's the point?
