That's how I am. It makes me feel slimy.

Deal with the tie breaker later.  Need the more talented  team to lose.  And F Dallas.

I’m not gonna let arozerena beat me. I’d just intentionally walked him from the start. Someone else beats me i tip my cap to them. I get it puts the tying run in scoring position and the winning run at first but I’m not gonna let their best And hottest player beat me in this type of game. I don’t even give him a chance especially with Phillips hitting below .200 for the year and only 2 at bats during the postseason sitting on deck.

I agree pitching around him screwed with Jansen’s control and location. Was a poor decision as it screwed with Jansen’s mindset and locating his pitches. Also I hate the idea of them throwing a cut fastball up in the zone. Jansen isn’t the same pitcher he was 3 to 4 years ago. 3 to 4 years ago he could throw that and blown it by Phillips no question even if he missed his spot. He’s not that guy anymore.  Frankly I don’t think he’s a closer anymore. I don’t think he has the stuff consistently to be that guy. Graterol imo should be their closer. His stuff is electric and there’s a reason why he was one of the best prospects the twins had in their organization

oh they definitely needed this. However I think game five they’re going to be competing with that Cardinals Seahawks game and they’re not gonna win that ratings battle. I would argue they got the third worst matchup they could’ve gotten based off with the NLCS and ALCS could Offer. I think MLB was hoping the Astros would play the Dodgers in the World Series. people would’ve been glued to that World Series. When the rays beat them I think they lost a lot of casual fans that would’ve just tuned in to see the Astros/dodgers series and see the bad blood there.

These Dodgers have always been a terrible team at the fundamentals.  Terrible play on the winning run by both the center fielder Taylor and the catcher (Fresh Prince).

When the center fielder has to move to his left to field a base hit, especially on grass, he has no hope of cutting down the lead runner at home running from second.  Terrible play to take his eye off the ball and not field it.  As soon as he retrieves it and makes the throw to the cutoff man, the catcher has a very simple job to check where the next base runner is — he’s likely just rounding third base at that point.  The catcher never even bothers to check where the base runner (Arozarena) is, and inexplicably believes he needs to catch the ball and make a sweep tag in one motion — he’s about 30-40 feet wrong in where he thinks the winning run is.  Inexcusable.

Don’t even get me started on the fact that, without the ridiculous infield shift, a 2B in his normal fielding spot might have just gone up and caught the ball off the bat to end the game.

The amazing part with Taylor is he was only out there cause bellinger hurt his shoulder celebrating in game 7 of the nlcs.

Like you said terrible fundamentals. Could also add Jansen wasn’t behind the catcher backing him up like he should have been on the play. He’s in front of home plate watching it all happen.

Payroll alone,  I'm pulling for the rays.

Casey Toohill goes from inactive for the Eagles to inactive for wasteam.

Per the ringer

Fun NFC East facts! —they're 26th, 27th, 30th, & 31st in DVOA

—0-14 against teams above .500

—healthy QBs are 29th, 30th, & 31st in passer rating

—only 3 healthy players in the division are top 10 in their position at PFF

—a 4-11-1 champ is possible

Most O Line injuries in the league and we are not bringing in this guy ??

It sounds like a lot of stuff happened with this guy behind the scenes.  That is the only thing I can think of.

Kelce 1 of the 3?

4-11-1 is insane  Also a little messed up that it's likely to screw some team out of the playoffs

It's very questionable

We're -$60M or so in cap next season. We need all the carry-over space from this season as we can get. They're not going to use some of that for a G to come in midway through the season. Spain won't fix this OL single handedly.

Would be nice though!

Talent wise Dallas is the better team but Washington holds the tiebreaker over the Eagles, at least for now.

I just can't bring myself to root for a Cowpies win no matter what.

Pretty much irrelevant this year since the Eagles got the tie against the Bengals. The odds of a tie for standing in the division are really, really remote.

Yup.

Those tie-breakers matter to non-Eagles teams, ie if Washington/Dallas are tied at the end of the year. Division record could matter for them. For us? No.

Lol I love the James Harrison Fanduel commercial. Always laugh when the guy says wait what

Antonio Gibson for 40 yards!  Hail to the Football Team!!!

Dallas defense is sooo bad

Maybe he turned down the Eagles offer to come in for a look.

Cowboys are bad , things continue, McCarthy wont be back, ugly football

Lol Dalton strip sacked at the Washington goal line for a Safety

No way he gets fired after 1 season.  He gets next year at least.

If Dallas is serious about this season, they must fire Mike Nolan and bring back someone who will teach the fundamentals (ie, Richard)

Mike Nolan is stuck in 2005.
