If Dalton is seriously injured, there's no way they roll with DiNucci as the starter with the Eagles on tap. That game is essentially their season on the line.

There was a rumor after Dak got hurt that they were interested in Sam Darnold. The theory was they want security in case Dak never returns to the form he was and they like Sam Darnold as a young quarterback

Darnold would make more sense than Fitzpatrick. They aren’t winning anything this year so why give up assets for a one year "solution”?

I think darnold  ends up a good QB, he is just in a bad situation

Also, with trades, they have to pass 5 days of COVID testing with their new team even though they were getting tested with the old team. Jordan Willis was traded to the 49ers 5 days ago and he’s currently roster exempt until he arrives to the team tomorrow. So even if Dallas pulls a trade tomorrow they wouldn’t be able to get him in the building until Saturday. Same thing if they sign someone. Not sure how you can just throw a QB out there cold with no prep or practice and expect it to work.

Agreed. However I don’t think it’s gonna cost him that much to get Ryan Fitzpatrick. I think the Dolphins would send them over there for a fourth round pick. Because that’s more than what they were going to get when he just walks at the end of the year. For Dallas they could be functional on offense with him. It makes no sense because they’re not gonna win anything but feels like jones would make that move anyway cause he’s Jerry Jones.

If I'm the Dolphins I keep him in case Tua takes a bad hit and his hip gets screwed up. Dolphins blow, but they're right in the mix in that division.
