I can definitely see the benefit of having to play one less game, and getting an extra week to get bodies healthy, but sometimes, it seems like the bye kills or slows some of a team's momentum.

True. With how the standings are right now Green Bay would play tampa bay as the 7 seed. I much rather not potentially have to play a team like Tampa Or Arizona if i dont have too. I actually think the 7 seed in the nfc is super dangerous this year. The nfc has like 7 good teams and even the niners seemed to have turned it somewhat around.

Well, I'm thinking next week is a win....

I wish you guys would stop saying this crap.

It's like the kiss of death

Just watched the Dalton hit. It is exactly like the hit that ended Trent Greens career. The difference being there was no flag on the Green hit.

First place for seven more days, at least!

I know they aren’t the best and seem to be all over the place but Eagles -3.5 next week against the Cowboys is extremely tempting, especially if Dalton is out

Even with Dalton, it looks light.

Eagles didn't exactly set the world on fire against a terrible Giants team. They nearly gave that away.

We play only one game in the next 20 days.

Expect to see a bunch of guys coming back week 10 against the Giants.

Also note that the Cowboys will be playing Pittsburgh during our bye week.

Yeah, but you saw the capacity for competence.  I don't see any of that in Dallas.

Exactly. It’s not like we looked like world beaters. We are lucky Evan engram channeled his inner lj smith and dropped that pass

Absolutely, but also saw the capacity for incompetence.  That said, Dallas has the worst scoring defense in the league.  They are surrendering nearly 35 points a game... so that's nice for this offense which is struggling still.

I wish we had reagor back. Totally see him having a huge game against Dallas if he did. Still see fulgham and Scott (i assume sanders is out until after the bye) having good days.

That was not a catch by Olsen.

If we are wishing... I'd wish to have all the injured players back... but alas...

It was a catch, but it was not complete.  He caught the ball.  :P  Just didn't keep his feet in bounds.

I think the only thing that’s really meaningful About homefield advantage throughout the playoffs is getting the number one seed because the number two seed doesn’t get a bye anymore

We gonna have a week 16 (@DAL) or week 17 (vs. WAS) bye if we want it.  We'll have the division clinched and nothing to play because locked into #4 seed.

May even be able to take TWO bye weeks!

Yeah that’s true

DAL is allowing just a ton of rushing yards every week; sure would be nice to have Sanders in the lineup to take advantage.

That Washington game could be for the division in week 17. If Washington can beat the giants at home and Dallas again they are at 4 wins. Could also be in the game with cincy. Eagles and Washington could be facing off at 5-9-1 vs. 5-10 for the division.

We'll throw 48 times so don't need Sanders...

If we're that bad we'll be in position to take the bye in week 16 @ DAL to get healthy for week 17 vs. WAS.  No way we'll need to win both games to win the division.

2020 NFC East:

First time in the history of the league that not one team in a division has at least 3 wins through week 7

I agree we don't need Sanders.  But its because DAL D has no chance of even stopping Boston Scott.

Seahawks secondary looks like ours did when we had Bradley toast fletcher and Cary sconce Williams back there.

San Fran has the worst record in their division at 4-3
