That's messed up

Odell is a cancer.  This gets him away from the team.  That's a good thing for them.   Sucks for him.

Actually, its terrible news for the Browns. $13M becomes guaranteed third day of the new league year in March. He won't be healthy by then now so they can't cut him otherwise his $ guaranteed for injury only kicks in. This locks him onto their roster next year unless they can trade him.

I was discussing 2020 season only... didn't look into contract details.

John Clark says there's a chance Reagor plays Sunday. Depends on how he does in practice.

They should just let him take the extra 2 weeks to heal up. We should be able to beat Dallas with what we have.

Doubting there’s going to be a lot of takers at his salary and at this point for a guy who’s been injured 3 of 4 years and two of them were major injuries. Sucks for 2021 but at least the browns in 2022 can move on with no dead money and clear 15 mil of space.

He was tested all week and doesnt have it. Everyone around him was tested all week and doesnt have it

Time and time again we hear/see stats that masks "dont work that great"

WGAF about these masks.

New Jersey has extreme mandates, extreme rules/laws on wearing a masks and yet were still getting thousands of cases a day.

Just save it with the masks B.S.

That's why I find it so silly to see the masks on the sidelines.  Everyone on the gameday sideline is tested what daily?  Carson is in the huddle yelling out the plays, celebrating in the faces of guys after touchdowns and such but then he goes over to the sideline and puts his mask on in case Covid snuck down from the stands.  Then you see him take it off at times on the sidelines.  There's legitimately no point.

The referee wears his mask.  Takes it off to make penalty calls.

Same goes for the college games.  Watching OSU they were showing practice highlights and coach didn't have his mask on for practice or talking to the team but he needs to have it on around the team during the game.  Then you have coaches who wear their mask but pull it down to yell something at the players on the fields.

During the Eagles game they showed the owners booth with Lurie and his wife.  The minute she got on screen with no mask they cut away.  Don't want to show someone without a mask on.

I get it, they want to set an example.  At the same, I think a lot of Americans are just fatigued with allllll of this messaging.  Wear your mask.  Vote.  SJ messaging.  It's exhausting.  Please don't interpret this as me saying that you shouldn't wear a mask at times, that voting isn't important or that there aren't legitimate social justice issues.

October football games have become saturated with pink that we just ignore it now.  Does anyone really forget about breast cancer until the Eagles play and Carson has pink shoes on?  We are at the same point now with all of this other stuff.

We are in unprecedented times however and we are in this together.

They had better not.  For a variety of reasons:

1 - Mailata is better than Peters at this point.  Even when Mailata has a bad play, its a chance for him to learn from it, whereas when Peters has a bad play its due to him breaking down.

2 - Peters will break down again this year.  So, moving him to LT and shelving Mailata would be a temporary fix that could have a more permanent solution.  The most important thing for the OL is to have some semblance of consistency so that they can develop some sort of chemistry and cohesion.

3 - OG is the biggest problem on the team right now.  (although, if Pryor is playing RT, that's debatable).  I don't know that Peters is an upgrade at RG, but it would be better to try to fix that hole than create a new one.  Get Herbig back to LG where he worked well with Mailata, and insert Peters at RG, where he practiced in the summer..

Taking Mailata off the field is bad for both the future of this OL and the present.  It would be a huge mistake.  And if Stoutland has anything to say about it, I don't think he'd do it, even with how much he has respected Peters' play at LT over the years.

Everything you said is how I feel.

It's the Eagles however.  Don't be surprised to see JP at LT.

I understand the desire to be out there, especially as a Texas native... but at the same time... waiting gives the thumb two more weeks to heal.  I hope its fully healed before he plays.

I heard that same thing about beating Washington without Sanders and Johnson.

It’s Lombardi...

Whoa... ya know, I'd never considered that.    Great point.   🤣

This whole thing is just so beyond crazy.   If this disease had a shorter incubation period, this wouldn't be necessary.  But, the up to 2 week delay changes the entire narrative.  Frankly, if it was merely a 2 day incubation or something, like the regular flu, it would be rather easy to deal with, and wouldn't be the pandemic we see.  It would just be a new disease.

We should have beat that Washington team.....horrible coaching and bad decisions by Wentz (especially before halftime).....and that Washington defensive front is seriously no joke.  I'm worried about the next time we play them!  That might be the best in the NFL right now.

With him on the short term IR, he's untradeable, I do believe.

Yes... should.  But, didn't.  Can't take any opponent lightly.  Its the NFL.

Ford and Edwards as well.

What four players go to the PS or IR or just cut if those four are brought back.  Juriga maybe although with Herbig playing, that is light at C.  Opeta maybe if Driscoll is good to go. DJax to IR.  Maybe due to the calf injury, Jeffery finally goes IR.  As I count, toe, illness, calf.  Is nosebleed next?

This was too good!

Maybe the will IR him for his monthly visitor??

They should beat Dallas with or without him, but if he's healthy I want him to play. He's already missed a lot of time, he needs the reps and games.

That's what Albert Breer said. On the same hand, all these new rules are chaotic so he may have misspoken. Caplan today said he's trying to clarify things in relation to Ertz and a trade. We'll see.

DJax and Ridgeway are going to IR. Caplan said today on his podcast that he doesn't think Peters or Reagor will be ready this week, so I don't think there will be any other roster moves.

All I know is if anyone rants and raves about returning JP to Left Tackle once he's activated,

I'm just going to attack their remote location with a Kamikaze Drone.

JP PLAYS RIGHT GUARD !

Jackson, Ridgeway to IR. A WR has to go. I just don't see how you carry 8 on the active roster. I'd just IR Jeffery now that he has a new injury. Last spot I'd IR Wallace. He's supposedly week to week with that shoulder injury he picked up.

Yup. It really seems odd that there would be a distinction between types of players on IR and using that to determine if they’re tradeable.

If I want to trade for someone with a minor ankle injury or an ACL tear, I should be able to do that.

Plus, winning should be important. Toughness wins, strap it up Reagor!
