They will. It's just how the process is this year.

I'm not on that mailing list, I guess.

Thanks.

That's bs.

I’m in favor of if you cheap shot and injury someone Like that Then you are out as long as they are. Teaches a lesson not to do what he did.

There are more important guys to make room for than Ford - Peters, Reagor, McGill.

Good article by Zangaro breaking down the Fletcher Cox restructure. I was confused by the cap ramifications down the road.  I was confused by how that money was spread out.  The Eagles essentially have $23 million in cap for 2020 which can now roll over to 2021.  Are there any other players who could do the same sort of thing who we actually want to keep?

I agree 100% on it.

It's a thumb injury, that if wrapped, etc, has very low risk of re-injury.  I'm surprised they held him out this long, tbh.

Play him. Let’s win, like 2 weeks removes any risk.

Oh right - I forgot about him and just was thinking of Darby.

Problem is the lesser player milks it  or is held out by team. Especially if it’s a division rival.

But the point I was trying to make was that in the back of his mind, Doug knows that beating Dallas is important to his perception here, and that he'd be willing to go a bit deeper into the playbook to achieve that.

I just don't think Doug will expose some trick plays for Dallas... Why do it? I don't think against that D they need to..

Right now, defenses know when Hurts is lined up in the shotgun it’s going to be a run; either Hurts himself or the option with a RB.

Doug is going to have to have him on the run and make a throw to keep the defense off balance.  I’d like to see Hurts lined up beside Wentz in the backfield with the possibility of a direct snap.  I think Wentz or Hurts lined up as a WR has run its course.

I’d like to see him on the sideline with a clipboard.

Possible however again if you didn’t take the cheap shot risk then it wouldn’t be an issue to begin with.

He's already on the 53-man roster.

PS but can be raised to the active game day roster.

Waving the white flag

Interesting question, if you had one spot you could fix at the trade deadline what would you target? (I am not saying we should be buyers just as an interesting question)

i feel like oline you are gonna get back seumalo at some point so that’s an upgrade. I think peters can be an upgrade as well.

I would think linebacker. But i think the value you are going to pay and what you are going to get isn’t going to be great. Then again any linebacker who’s just average is an upgrade over what we have.

id love To see a corner opposite of slay. I think if you did that our secondary looks much much better. However i don’t really see a team trading a corner that’s of That kind value And if they are the price is going to be too much.

wr i like fulgham and getting back reagor should help. I feel i rather see what our young guys could do.

i probably say linebacker but I’d be as happy if they got a solid outside corner.

CB/RB/LB in that order

You’re right. Could mean the end for his tenure with the Eagles or they sign him to a player contract and keep him on the active roster to replace Ridgeway.

Id go for a stud LB but Im not sure if any are available. We wont draft one, so a trade is the only way. So Id be all in. For an average LB though, meh... Id go for the #2 CB instead.

So, depends on the tier we are looking at.

Regardless of what we do, an RB addition needs to be made.

Williams Jackson of the Bengals. He was listed as a guy who they might trade and he's on the last year of a rookie deal.

I don't know if they can work out a long-term deal with him given our cap situation, but I would rather have him than Barnett, and he certainly can be signed for a cap hit of less than $10 million next year.

It would probably cost them a third round pick, but he would be a massive upgrade over maddox/Mills/NRC at CB2.

Tabasco.  Who puts Tabasco on their fingers?  Smart move.  Rather than answer questions, have a little Tabasco on a finger ready and rub it in your eye.  May be the best call he has made all season.
