Williams Jackson of the Bengals. He was listed as a guy who they might trade and he's on the last year of a rookie deal.

I don't know if they can work out a long-term deal with him given our cap situation, but I would rather have him than Barnett, and he certainly can be signed for a cap hit of less than $10 million next year.

It would probably cost them a third round pick, but he would be a massive upgrade over maddox/Mills/NRC at CB2.

I don’t want an eight game rental.  With the Eagles cap room that is what he would be.  Too decent a draft for CBs next year.

Tabasco.  Who puts Tabasco on their fingers?  Smart move.  Rather than answer questions, have a little Tabasco on a finger ready and rub it in your eye.  May be the best call he has made all season.

CB/RB/LB in that order

Hmmm i feel like RB it’s not going to be worth the value in terms of what you give up and the fact i rather just draft one next year to get 4 years of cheap service. You are better off getting sanders healthy through the bye week. Rolling with Scott, sanders and seeing more of Huntley.

I actually like Huntley a lot. Saw him live when he played here for the Arizona bowl. Great game in the return game. When i watch his college highlights and some of NMSU games he reminds me a lot of Brian westbrook‘s style and how he could be used early in his career. Now that doesn’t mean he’s going to be westbrook. I don’t think that. I Also don’t think he’s as good of a runner between the tackles but i also think he has more athleticism than Westbrook did when he came out of college. But he is really good as a receiving back, special teams returner and i think if he adds 10 more pounds he could be a very nice back for the eagles.

Id go for a stud LB but Im not sure if any are available. We wont draft one, so a trade is the only way. So Id be all in. For an average LB though, meh... Id go for the #2 CB instead.

So, depends on the tier we are looking at.

Regardless of what we do, an RB addition needs to be made.

I’d love to see what of corners are on the market. I kind of feel like the market is going to make you massively overpay. I think linebacker will be less but only going to get average linebacker So the upgrade is there but not as much value as you’d get having a legitimate no. 2 corner

He has stood out to me as a gunner. He’s ridiculously fast on punt coverage.

Yeah me too every time he gets down field he commits a penalty and he's useless on defense.

I think you could get a decent RB for cheap. As much as they want to make Sanders the bell cow, its just not working between the injuries or the fatigue. Clement looked better Thursday but still does nothing for me. I want a bigger back in here. Mosher brought up Frank Gore a few times which would be fun and cheap. Brian Hill on Atlanta is another one you could probably get for a late round pick. Royce Freeman is worth making a call over.

Last year was bad, this year he's been great. He's the one that blew up the guy on San Fran or Cincinatti on a punt return. Can't find a video of it.

Must of been against SF don't think he played against Cincinnati, if he did he didn't record any stats.

I'd rather have a guy that can contribute on defense in a pinch, rudy ford has shown he can't.

Guys like tim Hauck, Colt Anderson , Maragos were career special teams guys that could still come in on defense in a pinch or In a multiple safety set.

Jim johnson used to have specific package just for rashard cook, Q mikell made his way as a special teamer before getting a chance at a starter

I don't see rudy ford beimg able to offer anything other than as a gunner on punts and in that capacity I'm not sure he does that so well that I'd keep him active roster apparently the coaches disagree with me☹️

If the Eagles lose to Ben Denucci, they should just fold up the franchise.

This isn't some athletic QB who can make plays and befuddle an offense that's never seen him.

Following his redshirt sophomore season at Pitt, DiNucci decided to transfer and enroll at James Madison.

"DiNucci’s play-style lends himself to potential turnovers and miscues, but he plays with grit, determination, and improvisation. He has decent size for the position and a live arm that can make most throws at the NFL level. DiNucci’s arm strength can lead to big plays downfield "

If he had a pre-season with a couple exhibition games, he might have a long-shot chance, but as #3, he's probably have gotten limited reps, barely knows the playbook, and has zero chemistry with their starting WRs.

Only issue with freeman right now is Lindsay is in concussion protocol and Gordon might get suspended 3 games for his dui. Too many things up in the air for Denver to unload him.

if i were going to trade for a back, i actually might call the New England. They got a handful of backs and i know for a fact they like jj Taylor their UDFA and want him to grow into the James white type of role. Another team i try calling is the lions and ask about kerryon Johnson. Swift has passed him and AP is also passed him. I wouldn’t mind getting him, he’s young and talented. Granted some injury concerns.

i much rather keep our late round picks then deal it for frank gore. Not giving up a lottery ticket for 8 games of gore. Who might be done

Interesting question, if you had one spot you could fix at the trade deadline what would you target? (I am not saying we should be buyers just as an interesting question)

i feel like oline you are gonna get back seumalo at some point so that’s an upgrade. I think peters can be an upgrade as well.

I would think linebacker. But i think the value you are going to pay and what you are going to get isn’t going to be great. Then again any linebacker who’s just average is an upgrade over what we have.

id love To see a corner opposite of slay. I think if you did that our secondary looks much much better. However i don’t really see a team trading a corner that’s of That kind value And if they are the price is going to be too much.

wr i like fulgham and getting back reagor should help. I feel i rather see what our young guys could do.

i probably say linebacker but I’d be as happy if they got a solid outside corner.

Linebacker w/o question. We currently have ZERO starting NFL caliber linebackers. (Though I do like the way Singleton has been playing).

I don’t know, he has a pretty smooth chest pass. If he can get his bounce pass down he’d be a decent PG

i won't talk trash on ANY qb until our db's have a chance to make them look like the next montana, elway, young, or peyton manning.

edit:

also, if dinucci is starting sunday...  you KNOW schwartz has his best sticks defense alignments drawn up.  he'll make sure the db's give AT LEAST 8 yard cushions ALL DAY.  cause why would you put pressure on a green qb?

Tailor made for Jim Schwartz.

Dallas is the worst team in the division.  NYG and WFT games scare me more.

dallas is getting a hole torn in them right now in the media.  sunday, the fight (if there is any) has to be taken out early.  as much as i want to believe they've already packed it in, they may want to attempt to make a statement.  eagles may be the better team on top of the garbage pile known as the nfc east, but that's not saying much.  dallas, for all their issues, still has the talent to put up numbers.

if the eagles play like the team that's showed up in the late quarters of the past couple of games...  for the whole game.  dallas is blown out of the water.  if they allow dallas to have some fight early, it could be a long day with the birds still only having two wins at the end of it.

Nick Foles is so awesome.

Dalton may well be out of concussion protocol by Sunday.

He doesn’t have any penalties this year and he has made five ST tackles.

He could, but he's likely missing majority of practice.

I was surprised he got up so quickly
