I didn’t hear this live. Did any of you guys? Is that accurate?

Yes. That's what they said

Let's see what the Eagles look like in December before jumping to conclusions, they wouldn't be the first team to limp through the first half, get the walking wounded back, and go on a playoff run.

Just getting Seumalo and Lane back healthy would make a huge difference, and with the emergence of Fulgham, getting a healthy Reagor with some games under his belt, and Ertz and Goedert and Sanders back would take this offense from the bottom to top five.

I don't think we're getting Lane back healthy this season.

They have no choice but to have Maddox as the starter. But it's a really bad position for the team to be in because he's not an outside CB.

Wentz’s 99.4 passer rating is highest ever by an NFC East quarterback with at least 50 career passes against the Cowboys and it’s 11th-highest among all QBs to throw at least 100 career passes against Dallas. He’s also 5th-most accurate at 68 percent. Despite facing Dallas only seven times, his 12 touchdown passes are already 16th-most. Six more get him in the all-time top-10. Wentz has had a passer rating of at least 90 in six of seven starts against Dallas and has 12 TDs to just two INTs.

Get new material. Any Eagles fan with a brain can see this isnt a superbowl team. Actually this is a get blown out first game team. Usually I'd root for the Eagles to get a home game If were in the 7-9/ 9-7 range to help the econemy  locally but at this point the Eagles are a 5 win team and they cant have fans

A top 10 and a 30 something 2nd rounder helps this team WAY MORE then a 1st round bail out. I cant help you if you're too dumb to see

Ah yes, your super hot takes are so original.

Bunch of bears fans today asking for trubisky to be the starter again. I still rather have foles than trubisky cause foles could get hot. But even with him as the starter they are averaging 14.3 points.

Frankly don’t think Nagy is a very good coach. Add what offensive skill talent do they bears have besides robinson? Montgomery has been a disappointment and Anthony Miller isn’t anything to get excited about. Either is old man jimmy graham. The bears defense is the reason That team has won 5 games.

Right, since that worked out so well for the Sixers.

And the Browns, Lions, Bengals, Dolphins, Jets, etc, etc....but yeah, let's throw away cheering for our supposedly favorite team for a chance at a good player....though we could still have a good season and come away with a good player drafting later. It seems like a no brainer to me...

Biggest issue with the Bears is their O-Line.  Decimated with injuries....QB has about 1.5 seconds before he has someone in his face.  Makes our O-Line look elite.

Tanking isn't really a thing in football.  Drafting early isn't a consistent formula for success.

This isn't basketball, where you only need a couple superstars to become championship relevant.  You need a QB, a couple of playmakers on O, a solid Oline, a pass rusher or two, a competent secondary.  Trading away talent to get better picks only means you need to hit on those picks to replace the talent.

Next, the players put their bodies at risk and work too hard to just mail in a game performance.  These guys have been programed to pay-to-win since pee wee.

Finally, almost everyone enjoyed the run last December.  I'd happily see another playoff run.

wish we could give them Ertz and Alshon for Allen Robinson...  Although now I post this I look and he had a concussion last night

And I feel like the Sixers trust the process got ruined because of bad ownership making a decision to quit the process midway through and not see it out fully. Then you add on the Colangelo disaster and then hiring Elton Brand who had little to no NBA front office experience to try to put together a title contender by signing freaking Horford who is not even a fit. Sixers ownership does not get enough criticism in this for continuously changing the direction of what they wanted to do with the team. the blueprints changed every other year since firing hinkie. They blew up the blueprints every year and went to something new

the 76ers were stuck in purgatory with the team they had. They were never going to win a title or come close to winning a title unless they had freak injuries like what happened to Derrick Rose. Add on no superstar free agent was going to willingly come to Philadelphia to play for the 76ers. The last big free-agent they got would’ve been Elton Brand and Elton Brand was coming off an Achilles injury wasn’t nearly the same player when they signed him and that’s why they were able to sign him. Pause before that they hadn’t gotten a superstar free agent to Philadelphia since the 80s

I like Allen Robinson a lot. However he’s kind of a redundancy to what you have in Fulgham. I get Robinson is more polished and a much better receiver at this stage of his career but if you believe fulgham can develop into that type of receiver then you really don’t wanna have to pay Alan Robinson what he is asking for since his contracts coming to an end. To me this is the perfect time to bring back Jalen Reagor and see what the young guys could do with Carson the rest of the year. I’m actually excited to see what reagor, fulgham, hightower and ward can do.

You're an idiot. First of all, you clearly don't understand there/their/they're and how to use them. Next up, there's no guarantee of player health next year, or the year beyond. Try living in the here and now. Finally, you are actively cheering against the Eagles, on an Eagles message board, for the hope they can get a high draft pick next year. Then you call everybody who disagrees with you a moron.

If you walk around all day thinking everybody you encounter is a moron.....the problem is usually you.

I agree with you. If we're making trades, I'd want to either stockpile draft picks, or bring in an LB/RB/CB. And of that group, preferably a guy or two who could be locked up for a few years. I ultimately don't think it happens, but one can hope!

Yea, Nagy is overrated. He’s gotten wins but his teams are almost always paper tigers.

Isn't that just our luck.  Interesting that the Ravens would have interest however.  I think Andrews and Boyle is a pretty prolific 1-2 punch at TE.  Both offer such different skill sets and it works well for them.  Did someone get hurt?

Careful, you're mixing species there.

No, people on here, have and has agreed with me.

I can tell you the faith of the Eagles if they sneak into the playoffs. They get smoked. They pick someone we dont want in the mid 20s. They take a terrible risk in the mid 50s(stop me if you heard this one) and they they go 7-9 / 8-8 / 9-7 next year. This will also push back all off season injuries surgeries to Late January instead of tomorrow.

they completely miss in the draft regardless of position.

Im a fan. Winning this season would hurt more then help our future.

I like Superbowls. not getting crushed in home playoff games we cant even go watch

Not at all. The history is there.

The best was to predict future behavior is to look at past behavior.
