Preaching to the choir on Anderson. I was the person on here that never shut up about him. So I’m not surprised Anderson got out of ny and is having success.

If only Howie read the Blog, he would have signed Anderson and Tre Boston and we'd be good.

I was also about Tre Boston a couple years ago. I don’t know how he’s played this year. Pff has him at a 49

So, if you don't want to win for surgeries and better draft slot, it starts this week.  Do you want the Eagles to lose this weekend ??

Friends on what surgeries bacarty waves our players to get.

I can hear Doug in the locker room.

"Guys, we are giving up on the season.  Today we are focusing on surgery. Who needs a surgery? Everyone us getting surgeries. Starting today, no wins. Just...surgery."

I'm sure they'll all be excited to play again next year after that.

Speaking of Hargraves sucking so far, what a perfect o-line and team to have a coming out party with!

It’d be great to show up at some point since he got a boat load of cash.

Saw Gilmore is on the trade block. Pipe dream and unrealistic, but one can dream. Draft picks are too important, and the cap hell is not worth it. But Slay and Gilmore would compensate for the slop elsewhere.

I'd give a first

Haven't watched him close, but he was good last year. Wonder why he is rated so low. He had a nice PBU to beat the Chargers a few weeks ago.

Legit question, what do you mean by "counting' stat

Total yards, receptions, points, etc.

Goederts ankle is probably mostly set by now, sucks for him we have to rebreak that SOB so he can get his surgery.

Hmmm...I might sign up for a vasectomy if someone else is paying.   Not wanting any more kids.

I can see an Eagles intern walk into the locker room tomorrow with a stack of 53 appointment cards. "Uhhh, who ordered ankle with a side of knee scope? Oh, right Lane here you go. Lets see, we have lobotomy... Whitesnake thats gotta be you. And, uh, I've got about 5 hammy replacements, help me out here guys."

Not the case, but if I here Ertz needs surgery but can play with it if he needs to, he's not playing. He's getting surgery.

Look at Lane, they said he needs surgery. But HE COULD TOUGH IT OUT. Why the F do you want to tough something out for a 4... MAYBE 5 win team.

If you where?

Darius Slay has not given up more than 55 yards in a game to any opposing WR this season. Through 7 games, his averages are:

• 38.1 Yards
• 4.2 Receptions
• 6.4 Targets

Antonio Cromartie might want to sign with us.

Cant wait to hear Kelce, Ertz, Lane and someone else needed off season surgery after we get spanked by the Seahawks wild card round and they're probably going to miss some preseason and maybe regular season stuff

Yea, because players that can play with an injury need 7-8 months to recover post surgery

Gotcha.

Sorry I dont relay on a stat... or analytic equation that says a 30 yard touchdown  from Mahomes in a meaningless blow out game grades higher than a 50 yard run that losses the game against the cowboys

I’m not surprised you don’t really understand the metric.

Sounds EXACTLY what wasted talent is.

Dudes doing great things on an average defense on a sh!t team.

Brandon Graham is also doing great things.  Cox is starting to heat up.  Jackson is playing well.  Sweat is playing well.  Hargraves might come around later.  This average defense could become pretty good in 3 to 4 weeks.  We are getting Reagor and Goedert back soon.  The average offense could become a good offense.  Give it another 3 weeks before you declare this team dead.

I'll make a wager. someone on this roster is late to Training Camp or Preseason because of a surgery he could of had in season.

You bet way too much.  How many times a day do you say to your wife "I bet you x amount that"....

What i just showed you is exactly what it is.

DVOA's main concept is to base everything on the league average.

Among a multitude of other things.

It is up to the player, so if Lane want's to play, are you going to fault the team ??

down and distance, strength of the opponent etc etc.

At the end of the day. If down, distance, etc were all the same  a 30 yard meaningless run against the chiefs will grade better then a 30 yard run against the cowboys this season.

It’s called context. I get that you have no interest in that, but it’s important.

Because betting, in is simplest form, is the shut up or put up. Everyone wants to run their mouth, talk Sh!t think they're smarter than everyone but when it comes to cold hard cash it changes thier tune real quick There is no need to go back and forth, and back and forth, and argue like little kids. Throw some money up and we can figure out who was right

Only if you have ITYS'itis.

Exactly one week to go.  Howie better get a lb and rb at the minimum.  Just to get us through the year.

I would add a guard to that, but don't need a trade.  Quinton Spain just sitting out there.

How about you just find an example of the last time that happened. Closest thing you will have is Alshon Jeffery in 2018 which was only because they played and won a SB and pushed surgery back into mid Feb. Ertz broken rib and lacerated kidney last year healed fine. Gerry's hernia healed fine. What injuries do you think there are that allows a player to play through but surgery will cause that many months of rehab?
