I identify with this meme 100% and have absolutely no shame about it. 

I’ve seen John Hightower’s low catch percentage mentioned in the blog a few times. 

He has caught 9 of 21 targets so far. According to PlayerProfiler only 11 of those targets have been deemed catchable. He actually is the highest average depth of target in the NFL at 20.0 yards. Those are really low percentage throws so it’s understandable.

Meh... yeah Carson missed a bunch of those throws early on.  But it doesnt change the fact that he's body catching everything. 

Maybe his catch% will naturally increase before his hands improve. Just due to Wentz playing better.  But he's still gonna have a bad drop % till he begins using his hands.

The point was his depth of target is so ridiculous he naturally will have a low catch percentage compared to a lot of receivers. It wasn’t a commentary about his hands, which we all agree aren’t great at this point.

what was Torrey Smith's in 2017? It seems like a very similar role. It seemed like Smith got like 2 targets a game. Usually only deep shots in like the 1st quarter and that was it.

I would guess he had a very high depth of target.

He averaged four targets per game. 

I get that Dallas is down and out but this is also setting up as a potential trap game. If they have half a brain Dallas’ coaching staff is lighting them up all week. Absolutely embarrassed. Health coming back on D. Rookie qb with nothing to lose coming out slinging to good WRs and zeke seeking redemption. Meanwhile we snuck past NYG.
