ever since I was so negatively outspoken about that draft class from day 1, everyone began saying I dont admit when I am wrong or actively root for players to be bad just so I can be right.

None of that has ever been true. Its that Barnett had never dont anything well enough to prove me wrong yet.

I said previously I am STILL wary of his dramatic performance increase in what could be a contract year after 3 years of absolutely 0 development.

That is why I would hold firm on an offer around 10M a year. Not gonna fall in to the contract year performance trap. 

But yes right now, for a team who can make some noise in playoffs, hes played well enough to keep around for that opportunity. 

Ive always called things as they are. When a player sucks I say it. When a player plays well, I say so too.  It doesnt matter if I previously thought something different about them.

Ive not blindly stuck by JJAW, and Im not continuing to bash Barnett when he plays well. Its always been this way. Hell is not freezing over and pigs are not flying.

Yeah.  They reactivated his 21day practice window yesterday.  Him practicing on day one with Pads is a good sign.
