That's my team.  Vols!  Their white on white on white on white loke (called the storm trooper) is my favorite.  But they suck.  So there's that.

I've always always been a uniform/helmet/facemask/cleat nerd.  I love the gear how it evolves, changes and whatnot.  It blows my mind for instance, the size of Charlie Garners shoulder pads...that was 1990s/2000s football though, the bigger the pads, the neckroll the facemask, the better or meaner a player was.

I love the stormtrooper look, although it's overdone now.  Miami was the OG with it now it's the "icey whites" ugh I cringe typing the slang.

I hate BFBS and GFGS (black for black sake gray for gray sake).  I'm a traditionalist but like modern flare at the same time.

We're in for an interesting week. Dallas week with Luke Falk Game™ potential. A definitive decision on Alshon likely to be made. What happens at LT? Trade deadline.

Apparently some election on the day of the trade deadline too.  I thought the Pro Bowl was cancelled so what exactly are we so supposed to be voting about?

Guessing you weren't a fan of Michael Bennetts youth sized shoulder pads

LOL, I understand his reasoning but man he his gameday uniform just looked like trash.  The thing is, at A&M he looked the part.  College D-end in a low number, my favorite facemask and a visor.  That's a great look for a d-lineman.  In the NFL.....oooof

I'm a white cleat guy all the way.  When I was a kid watching college football and the NFL and collecting cards and all of that it was black cleats in college (white spats for the good players) and the NFL outside of the Bears wore white cleats.  It was like graduating to the NFL got you white cleat status.   Example, one of my favorite Eagles ever. Charlie Garner.

I absolutely hated when the Eagles went to black cleats.  The NFL had much stricter rules prior to the last 3-5 years.  If a team wore white cleats, every player had to wear white and you could have a certain % of your cleat devoted to team color, usually the makers mark.  Same went for black cleats.  Teams had to designate what color cleats they were going to wear.  Now it's a a cluster F of whatever a player wants to wear.  Socks are no longer consistent either.

Loved Charlie Garner.

But, nothing beats the Eagles uniforms with silver pants, white tops and black cleats. Awesome. Univ Georgia has best college uni’s IMO because of the silver pants and black shoes.

White guys wearing white spikes doesn’t work either. Looks like YMCA stuff, half expecting colored dress socks.🤷‍♂️

Is it just me or are those pads gigantic?  No wonder everyone gets hurt in today's game.  They need to wear bigger pads.

Wonder if Schwartz is aware of this?  I can see another QB scramble for 80 yards because our beloved DC didnt prepare for it.

Rich's data suggests Philly won't blitz. Schwartz always blitzes young, trash QBs. I have the O/U on Jalen Mills sacks at 1.5.

Not that I agree, but could you imagine if we fell into a legit quality receiver like that?

Perhaps I am being picky here, but Driscoll has not impressed me at RT. I see him as an interior guy. In my ideal scenario, when Kelce retires, Seumalo goes to C and Driscoll goes to LG.

I think if Driscoll starts at any point in his career, it is at LG but right now he is targeted as the sixth man like Seumalo was.  Kind of a swing everywhere player.  No experience at C, but wouldn’t be surprised to see that being trained at some point.  Very similar players.  Imagine if Dillard produces as LT and Kelce comes back next year as does a healthy Brooks with out insurance being Mailata and quite probably Wanogho at swing T, Driscoll at LG and emergency T and Herbig at C.   Pryor may not make the team as ideally they identify a C/G target.  Maybe Stout and Howie have done okay at finding talent on the OL.

I'm really excited to see Reagor back. If he can be a player, it could really open things up for Fulgham even more.

Agreed, drafting Mailata, was easily a no brainer, and I know I supported the move, even earlier this year when it was being questioned why are we wasting our time, my response was he is only 23 years old. We have time.

Did he?  This is year three on a four year contract.  Folks are concerned that Dillard with be year three on a five year contract next year.

1 hour ago, austinfan said:

Yep, Driscoll lacks the arm length for OT, when he's beat with quickness, he can't reach out and touch someone, compare to Mailata, where it takes all day to run around him.

Driscoll was drafted as an interior lineman who can move out to OT in emergencies, he should be a good LG.

Toth is a total project, Army so you know he's undersized and inexperienced in pass pro, check back in two years.

Prince is a late round upside gamble, if he gets back to 100% the Eagles have a steal, but that "IF" is why he fell in the draft. We've seen plenty of these gambles fail (Sidney Jones), which is why you make them in the late rounds, not the early rounds.

Toth as a four year project?  Don’t see it.  Wanogho’s knee is a concern but if he takes to Stout’s teaching I think he could be our swing T of the future.  Liked his feet in college.  Drops his arms too much but that is teachable.

That was way too easy.

Spadaro just absolutely ripped JJAW a new one on the Eagles practice video. He said "He's making plays here and there. More baby steps with him."

Damn

Pretty sure the main reason Bennett used to do it was so that O-Linemen couldn't grab on to the upper sides of his jersey.

It would be about time that the team has had a quality receiver that hasn't been an early draft pick or free agent.
