Carson had a bad game.  Carson has shown he can win games without a whole lot of talent around him.  Carson isn't the problem.  Also, Doug has to coach to Carson's strengths and help his QB.  Doug did an abysmal job of that on Sunday after the 1st quarter.

He had a nice tackle of a WR on a screen type play.  I think he was to blame for the blown coverage on the first TD.

Pretty sure the Eagles had some amazing defensive performances against Barry Sanders when he was unstoppable and they shut him down with seriously bad numbers.

Would have to go back and strictly watch defense but it is damn embarrassing against that offense that the defense on the go-ahead touchdown drive couldn’t get off the field on a 3rd and 8 and a 3rd and 9.

We know Carson has the ability but we also know Carson can cost this team games. Yes some of Sunday is on Doug and it's not all on Carson. But Carson has to be smarter and he has to understand situations. Carson is very up and down, unfortunately he's looking more and more like Foles in that sense. Extreme highs, extreme lows.

Mailata , Driscoll's a RT/ RG/LG in this league.  Mailata's your only LT.  Kid will be fine with reps. Will he make mistakes ? Yep. Can't be worse than Sunday.

I'm not sure that is our best option though. Pryor in at RG and hopefully Lane is back at RT. If he's not then I guess it's Driscoll again.

You can try Peters Seumalo Kelce Pryor Johnson which I think they might. 

Still think Mailata Seumalo Kelce Peters Johnson is better. Why? Because you can bulldog half the league on the right side with that lineup.  Since the NFL went to all pass all the time, having a lineup that can push you back 4 yards at will is a pretty valuable commodity. Even if your blind side is a little scary. Can't blindside me when I'm running right.

Rewatching the game and specifically the oline play I was actually kind of impressed with Driscoll at RT. Sure there were some issues with blitz pickups and getting beat once in awhile but he showed pretty good technique and actually held up nicely against Young most of the time. Wonder if they don't consider moving Lane to LT and keeping Driscoll at RT next season.

Driscoll is pretty useless against the run. To me he looked like he would be a perfect fit for us as a center.

Lane struggled at LT when he played there, so he is going to be at RT for the rest of his career.

To me, the 2021 LT spot is an open competition between Mailata and Dillard. And Mailata certainly took the lead with his performance against Washington. I think he only gets better.
