Hey I don't care what the "agents" say, your best option looking at the Eagles Roster at LT is Jordan Mailata.

Why? Because a couple of reasons.

1) He's 23 and has feet that can actually move

2) Then the center of your pocket doesn't collapse immediately after every drop back.

But do it your way, we know you will

In what a few plays... he played like 18 snaps.  Meanwhile Driscoll played 50. So those 18 snaps are not nearly enough to make that determination. Especially when 3 Snaps came when the game was already over with under 30 seconds.

That and the missed deep ball to Reagor were the two game changing plays that didn't happen.

I’m not going to argue that Mailata will be the best option at LT...I have no idea and recognize the massive downside there.

But I am curious to just put him out there, get him playing football, and see what happens.  Unless they throw him out there in real games, it’s becoming obvious that he’s just going to fade into nothing.  Might as well take the shot.

This front office is an absolute joke and Howie needs to go back to the basement. How do you fail so miserably at depth on the o-line to start week 1 and do nothing aside from promoting a PS player to help. That was the worst o-line performance I’ve ever seen. Wentz is going to get killed this week.

They won't. NFL's more about Contracts and Agents these days.

I think you would have an argument if he came in and was worse than Driscoll. But he came in and was better.

Obviously we don't know what would have happened if he started the game. Maybe he would have been worse. But you are relying on pure guesswork to form an opinion, which is somewhat useless for having a discussion.

I didn't even recognize the guy!  Looks like he's put the old shoe polish hair dye away.

Eagles have one roster spot open. Will be interesting to see if they brought anyone in today from the outside.

If that was their plan of action I would imagine they would just do it today along with Opeta, not leave a roster spot open. They can always bring him up as one of two on Saturday also.

Yup.  We should find the GM that can put their 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th OL on the depth chart on the field and win.

Not really it’s easy to say he played better in basically 15 snaps. Theres 35 more plays Driscoll played where he had more chances to be exposed By that defensive line as a rookie. There’s a chance over those 35 he looks worse than Driscoll. Also a chance he looked better. But we saw limited snaps which isn’t enough to be like long haul he would’ve just been better. He played legit like 15 snaps. Add on Driscoll got fresh DL from the start of the game. Meanwhile mailata going against DL in the first game of the season by the 4th and is coming in fresh. All makes a difference. 

add on i never said mailata didn’t play better than Driscoll. I said he eagles clearly don’t trust mailata over Driscoll as they didn’t start him over the rookie. So your argument is a BS argument i never started that. Lol so clearly if the eagles started Driscoll over mailata then they TRUST him more

My guess is that they are waiting to see if Barnett/Hargrave can play. If Hargrave is out again, they may use the spot on McGill and call up Ostman, since they can't promote a player two weeks in a row.
