Losing Lane Johnson is one way for us to lose tonight. Lawrence vs. Mailata is a + matchup for Dallas.

If you were to ask some Cowboys fans, DiNucci is more accurate and athletic than Dalton and has already shown he's better.

Really depends on the game plan. Should be ZERO reason we don't have guys wide open every play. Their defense is that bad.

I don't even remember the last time the Eagles destroyed anybody.  Probably the SB year.

Jets last year

All that based off 3 pass attempts. Cowboys fans aren’t the brightest bunch.

😄 does that really count tho?

Eagles are willing to trade Alshon Jeffery? Schefter must have some incredibly strong sources

I think the bigger thing in there is the DeSean. I have a feeling a team that considers themselves SB contender like New Orleans might have taken a shot with him if they could get him for pennies on the dollar. They have Thomas and sanders but neither is a deep threat like desean could provided them granted he’d actually have to not get hurt.

I am excited to see Reagor and Fulgham on the field at the same time.  We haven't seen that yet, but if Reagor is playing the Desean role, which is what I think he is likely best suited for at this stage of his career, that's a perfect match.  Fulgham at X, Reagor at Z, and Ward at Y.  They can mix and match them around as well, but I'd like to see that set-up as the predominant lineup.   Mix in Hightower as well to get a little more speed on the field.

Add in that Goedert is back, and this offense can actually be quite dynamic.

Well, the Jets last year would be relatively close to the Cowboys this year.

Last year's Cowboys team was much, much better than their team this season and we beat them with the division on the line and held them to 9 points.

Game should be over at half time. Whether it will or not remains to be seen.

As long as Reagor and Fulgham play some in the slot with Hightower on the outside, I’m good. I don’t want to see Ward as the full-time WR3.

Yup

I hope it's not too windy. The run game probably favors Dallas with Miles being out.  Our OL hasn't been good run blocking all year, too.  I'm hoping for 15 MPH winds or less because we need to be able to pass the ball and then run off of it.

1.  How do you not see the DL getting a lot of pressure on their young QB?

2.  Throwing a lot of short passes with any accuracy requires timing; you only get that with significant reps in practice with your WR -- DiNucci doesn't have that.  He will only be dangerous if he scrambles away from pressure to buy enough time to throw downfield -- that will happen only sporadically, maybe 2-3 times in the game

3.  In order for the offense to perform with any potency with a third-string QB, the OL and skill position players need to win battles to help out.  The DAL offense only scored 13 points in 6 quarters with Dalton -- there isn't any evidence to believe these guys will suddenly go off with DiNucci running the offense.

I agree with what you’re saying, I was just illustrating what I believe their game plan will be.

People are saying that Jay Glazer said Lane is out on the FOX pre-game show. Not surprising.

Lane taking tonight and next week off was for the best. His ankle will take less of a beating and his knee injury was 1-2 weeks anyway. He'll be good to go after the bye.

Now everyone can stop freaking out about Mailata being on the bench.

Like the passion though.

I woke up early because of Daylight savings a little excited this morning.  I love Dallas Week.

We are due for a dominating performance. For some reason Doug gets the guys really ready to plays well on Primetime especially on Thursday and NBC.   It seems we've had 4 straight Dominating 4th Quarters.   I want that same energy for one game for once.  It seems like we play well the 1st quarter and then go through a funk for Quarter 2 and some of 3.  Then we go gangbusters the rest of the way.   I don't care how we win, just win.   NFC East Games are always weird but sometimes a team does have the upper hand.  I think we are the better team right now.   We have a Bye week.  There really is no excuse not to get this done.

So Mailata at RT and JP at LT?

Anyone see the penalty against Pitt for the hit on Lamar? I think that was a bogus call.

He did say that.  So, that's likely true.

I agree with all of that. But because I'm a pessimist, I remember the last time the Eagles were coming off of a huge, last second comeback win against the NYG then played a night game against a team  starting a 3rd string QB that we figured would never beat us. That didn't end well.

Great to get Goedert back

I think if we spread them out with 11 personnel we can run it at will
