When are we trading Ertz for Allen Robinson?

Players can refuse to leave PS for another team....most wont because they want a shot....rosen chose PS over other teams 53 , he just wants to learn.

There is zero chance any regular player will turn down a spot on a roster over a place on a PS. It's like 5 times the money to be on a roster.

Yup, and this team has never been wrong about player evaluation.

With teams being allowed to have 16 players on PS ,including vets...not sure much poaching will be going on.

And Driscoll has looked much better by all reports in a month and a half of training camp where mailata was not good.

Pretty crazy to think that Mailata, Heribig and Driscoll were all 5-6 years old when JP came in to the league.

And you can make that evaluation with mailata on 15 plays and not watching mailata everyday in training camp where he supposedly was awful? Pretty impressive by you based off 15 plays With tired DL in their first game of the year.  you can do that meanwhile they had two months worth of watching mailata vs. Driscoll is pretty amazing. 

This gave me a bit of a pause

It was the team's call. But I would have put Mailata out there. He has played in preseason games and has been in the system for three years. Driscoll made several mistakes that led to free rushers crashing into our qb that Mailata probably wouldn't have made. Plus, Mailata is far, far better in the run game.

You are basing your evaluation off of reports from beat writers, several of whom have been calling for Mailata to get cut for three years. Clearly they didn't want to be wrong about him, so they wrote what they wrote.

But whatever. Keep cheering against the guy. maybe you will be right someday. But today ain't your day.
