Patrick Queen with a big play to stop the Steelers on third and short. Our linebackers don't even make plays like that in their dreams.
Man our first round pick better play well tonight.

You'll feel better when he toasts their secondary and throws up the peace sign tonight.

This is a game where Lamar looks raw as heck as a QB.

I think he struggles against good defenses. I think he's exciting to watch most weeks as he's so unpredictable but I don't think he's in that top QB tier.

8 seconds is enough time for 2 throws to the end zone

Hmmm... can't figure out what that might be an acronym for that would fit for Newton.  He was a little cry baby today.

Agree. The Stillers have corralled him well and while the game is close, a better QB for the Ravens would have them in front

And the thing is... He's not a great passer so if you can keep him in the pocket and you can force him to beat you with his arm then more often than not he's going to struggle.

Flores might be a top 5 coach in the league

We will see... I'd still take Queen. Coulda had him with a trade back no less

Funny, the AFC north and NFC west have the best records...they both play the NFC east this year...chicken or the egg?

He's quietly done a very good job at an organisation that was a joke over the past 5-10 years.  Probably the NE assistant that could buck the BB Coaching Tree trend.

What he's doing with that team which let's be honest overall isn't the most talented is pretty damn impressive. Now that he's got himself a young QB who could be really good let's see if they can really build back up.

I'll eat crow.  I jumped the gun on Cam this year.  I wasn't the one who said, "MVP" but I may have tossed the "pro-bowl" word around.

Scam Newton used to have a good season followed by a very bad one. I think he thinks he’s better than he really is.

He might, but the rest of the NFL and the Patriots didn't, which explains why he had to settle for a bargain basement, incentive laden deal.

What I'll be interested to see if they start giving Hoyer or Stidham the reins for the rest of the year because Newton's makes $250k for playing in 13% of the offensive snaps. It goes up another $250k at 20% and another $250k for every 10% points.  Right now every he's played 75% of the snaps, which means he's at $1.7M in play time percentage incentives. Gotta think that that's going to go down with all this losing.

He also makes $43,750 per-game active bonuses. Make him the #3 QB and he likely will stop making those too.

You have to feel sorry for Wilson a little. He's one hell of a QB but the protection in front of him has always been shocking. Why can't they draft and bring in even half decent offensive lineman?

Watching the Bears vs Saints game.  Say what you will about Foles, the guy is such a natural passer.  Sits back there, goes through his reads...and boom, ball is out usually within 2.5 seconds.

Almost makes you wonder what the Patriots want to do. They might want to get into position to maybe go after a new young quarterback. It’s all falling apart in Patriots land these days.

I think they could, at this rate, be in position to go after Fields? I think Lawrence is going off the board at #1.

Aw... a team lost 3 of their starters on the OL.    I feel bad for them.

It will be interesting to see. I don’t know what the Patriots are thinking, but it just seems like they have packed this season in even before it started. Belicheat had a lot of success with a quarterback who wasn’t drafted early.

Wow.  QB the Bears traded up to #2 to select, has become a wild cat QB.

Yeah but you don't think he'll be looking for lightening to strike twice there do you?

Yup. It explains why they're bad. But not the Eagles. We're just bad despite missing 8 starters.

They got lucky there.   Well, lucky and good at cheating.

Yup.  And Eagles lost 2 OL starters before they ever took a regular season snap... started the first game without the RT as well.  Lost the LG, then backup LT, then the backup RT.
