Yup.  And Eagles lost 2 OL starters before they ever took a regular season snap... started the first game without the RT as well.  Lost the LG, then backup LT, then the backup RT.

Considering all the crap the Eagles have had to throw out there due to injuries it’s amazing they get these guys up to play as well as they do.

Getting healthy is such an obvious path to improvement. It's not like it's a stretch to say going from Cromm to Goedert or Clement to Sanders are upgrades.

That was not an easy FG.   Wind looked one way before the kick while lining it up, then the other way just before the snap.

I think they could, at this rate, be in position to go after Fields? I think Lawrence is going off the board at #1.

Fields looks slow to process in the pocket, holds the ball a long time.  I see him as a good, not great, prospect.  I’m not convinced Trey Lance won’t be a better NFL QB

There's a long way to go before I'd consider the Eagles true contenders though.

Most seem to think Lawrence will be the better QB so hey no doubt I'll be wrong. I just all around prefer Fields.

Hmmm... can't figure out what that might be an acronym for that would fit for Newton.  He was a little cry baby today.

 Most Visibly Poor

DK is a stud, what a TD catch and run

So glad we have JJaw. <_<

He's just so big, so powerful, so athletic and so fast.

That was a guy I liked as a bottom of the roster TE prospect. Whoa.

I’m not sure if I’m ready to call them contenders just yet. Let’s just see how they do with the rest of the schedule. This is a big test tonight, because they got a lot of people back. Let’s see how much that matters.

I'm so over it.   Do we have to rehash that every time that guy makes a play?

JJAW would've been blocking way downfield better than anyone on that Metcalf TD.

I think so I'm afraid.

I'm sure eventually it'll die down. I mean to be fair there were a lot of other players we could have taken that have been better than JJAW.

Yup.  I had to check the byline.  I thought it was a EMB homer.

Doink!  lol

You're probably going to be reminded of it for as long as DK makes a play.

Will it?  How many years did we have to listen to Brandon Graham versus Earl Thomas stuff?  or Brandon Graham versus JPP?   Interestingly, as it turns out, without Graham, I think its safe to say... no Super Bowl.

They aren't contenders. Far from it. But I think tonight they cover the spread and that's the first time I've felt confident enough to say that this year.

Is he better than Togiai (inactive today).

Well hey... JJAW has a fumble recovery to his name so maybe he's our new BG.

😁

Nick still does throw a pretty deep ball when he has a clean pocket.

That’s a pretty big spread. I know the Cowboys look bad right now, but it still is a divisional game. I can’t take them seriously as contenders until they start beating some contenders.

CLE putting up 6 big points at home against Las Vegas.  That game has to be very winnable for the Eagles as well.

There’s no one left on the schedule besides maybe Seattle that I think Eagles have no shot against. They have to be healthy and play complete games on both sides of the ball, but they could hang with the Saints, Packers, Cardinals.
