They did build in throws to boost his confidence and that's what they should have done with Wentz. Foles didn't throw downfield like Wentz does, he looked downfield only when the quick slants we covered. Foles lives underneath because he doesn't have the arm strength of Wentz. Wentz is definitely a more skilled QB but you need to make play call adjustments based on the personnel available on your team and the opponents team. Along with that Wentz needs to make better decisions and get rid of the football more quickly. The Eagles defense played good enough to beat "the football team". On Sunday Wentz needed to become a game manager in the second half. It isn't the end of the world, just week two and it looks like the East may once again the be least.

I saw very little. So disappointing

The throw should’ve been a bit more outside, but the WR cannot allow the ball to come to him on that route, he has to attack it, especially because he never got the CB to flip his hips (making it mor difficult for the CB to flip back and undercut the route). That play was more on Reagor than Wentz, but it’s easily fixable I’m a huge Wentz defender but that was on him, he floated it im glad Reagor took accountability though, that’s a good quality. We need to get him involved more, he’s a star in the making

After that adjustments need to be made, . With a 17 point lead you take what they give you. Limit penalties, which they did. Limit turnovers which they didn't. Let your defense carry it the rest of the way.
September 15, 20205 yr By the way, knowing how offended folks get in 2020, my Moroni comment was in no way meant to be denigrating to people of Faith. I myself believe if you F with me and mine enough, you're damn right there's a guy named Mike with wings who will ruin your day with a broad sword. Why'd they have to name him Moroni? Sounds so much like Jabroni lol

You dont throw that outside cause the DB was there and would have been in better position on the ball or knock Reagor the hell out. Wentz threw the ball in the right spot. Wentz did 1 thing wrong. he starred down Reagor on that route. Reagor however did not run a nice route, his cut was rounded off, not a sharp one foot in the dirt and pivot. Then he made the mistake fading out on the route instead of angling inside which is the way that route is designed. If he did run the route correct the DB would have had pass interference if he went for the ball. Hes a rookie and hopefully he will learn by his mistakes.

September 15, 20205 yr Interesting why the promoted Opeta and then signed Brown. Especially when other areas of the roster are lacking in numbers
September 15, 20205 yr They're going to exhaust every resource they have to help the OL. Wouldn't surprise me if Brown is starting at RG by Week 3.
September 15, 20205 yr Hard to believe the team was overly interested in Brown. Otherwise wouldn't have they added him to the 53 before he agreed with Chicago's PS?
