I left out Parks and Singleton as guys I thought looked pretty good.  I do like Singleton better than Gerry, although he really got trucked by Pollard on that one carry

Honestly, the biggest takeaway from tonight was Wentz playing like garbage. We can nitpick Ward drops, Hightower’s tracking, Reagor not making a nearly impossible catch when the DB made an elite play, but Wentz is the only real reason this was a game.

His first fumble is a play that should never, ever happen. He rolled left and there was literally no Eagle to throw to. He was out of the pocket and could have thrown it away without getting touched. Instead he took a brainless sack and fumbled.

His second fumble he focused on his primary for the entire play, completely unaware of a blitz it seems. He had two receivers wide open over the middle and he never looked. Poor awareness.

His first interception was into double coverage and never should have been thrown. He can’t make dumb decisions like this over and over.

The final interception, let’s cut him some slack and say the wind took it. Hopefully that’s true.

Against any other team in the NFL, we probably lose tonight. Darnold makes enough plays to beat us. Jones does as well. Probably Minshew.

It sucks watching this team pee down its leg every week, but it especially sucks when it’s your franchise QB holding the team back. He did that for a lot of the Giants game, and he was even worse against a pathetic Dallas D.

Can we get to .500?  The excitement is killing me.

Nope.  Definitely not.  Going to be stuck at 3-4-1.

Wentz isn't stupid. It's over.

What the Eagles need to do is a develop a Defensive unit that can hold "good" teams to 20 points.

And thereby become VERY Competitive for the Top Prize.

Forgot we had a bye.

The Eagles are going to have to find a real OC in the offseason who can be a QB whisperer for Wentz.  Whatever Doug is feeding him isn’t the right potion.

Mailata looked worlds better than Dillard at RT, that’s for sure. Also saw some think that sack was on Pryor. Reagor was meh. His TD and 2 pt conversion was nice, nothing else really stood out

He caught a screen pass and had a nice pick up.

Two things can be true. Pederson isn't the right coach for Carson. Carson isn't the right QB for the Eagles.

Yup.  Wentz was bad, terrible, and any number of other adjectives you can find.  Not much more to say there. He needs to stop the boneheaded decisions.   And stop giving the ball away.  He is Jeckyll and Hyde right now.  Some great moments, some that are beyond frustrating.

The rest can also be true, and I find those elements more interesting to discuss.  Wentz has greatness in him, we all saw it.  But, now its just flashes.  He was careful with the ball before, at least throwing it (no more than 7 INTs in a season)... but now the INTs keep coming.  But whats the fix?  Its in his head... and frankly, I dont know that his head wasnt screwed up by Clowney.

Boston Scott ran well too. Even Corey Clement almost looked like a functional NFL RB.

Scott played well but that’s more indicative of a bad Dallas D. You can say the same for Fulgham but he was doing some impressive things with his route running

Unfortunately this is who he is.  If he could just not play hero ball all the time and limit his turnovers, they'd be so much better.

Only hope is a different QB coach or HC that can push him and make him a better QB.

2017 Wentz is gone and buried.  He is never coming back.

Random point on Wentz. He is terrible at screen passes.

The Eagles offense slothed their way up the field against one of the worst defenses of all-time, and you some of you goofs are trying to justify Wentz's performance.

Its not who he was though..  even late last year.

Not that I disagree, but...

He should have had a TD. Wentz didn’t lead him inside where it was nothing but green grass. Maybe the wind took it.

The second deep ball was on Wentz but the first one was on Hightower.  He slowed down because he did not see the ball. I think Reagor should have been the target on one of those throws.

I think that’s the state of the position for the most part. If there are lanes, the RB looks like he played well. If there aren’t, people think the RB is the problem.

The receiver almost always has to adjust to his passes. It’s maddening.
