Bumping this.  Let that marinate in your brain.  We paid a guy 128 mil and his comparables are Tony Banks and Daunte Culpepper.

Well those are his comparables if fumbles were the only measure of being a QB.

OK let's look at our last 2 draft classes.  Draft classes meant to start building the core of the Eagles moving forward. Out of 15 players drafted over the last 2 years they played a combined 64 snaps.

To put that in perspective, there were 63 snaps on offense and 79 on defense.  I know you injuries are going to happen but this is inexcusable.  If you take out Reagor, our 1st rounder coming off an injury the 14 other players drafted played 18 snaps.  All on offense.  We got 44 ST snaps out of Taylor/Bradley/Wallace.  Not exactly the contributions I want from the.

This is absolutely pathetic.  I hope hope hope that Lurie is noticing this and realizes Howie is not performing.  Yes he signed Fulgham, Scott, Herbig and Ward.  I don't want our GM to be known for picking players off the trash heap.  I want a GM who can draft.

Round 1

Dillard- hurt

Reagor- 46 snaps

Round 2

Sanders- hurt

JJAW- 5 snaps

Hurts- 3 snaps

Round 3

Taylor- 0 snaps/14 ST

Round 4

Miller- PS

Wallace- 0 snaps/14 ST

Driscoll- hurt

Round 5

Thorson- cut

Hightower- 10 snaps

Round 6

Bradley- 0 snaps/15 ST

Watkins- 0 snaps

Wanogho- PS

Round 7

Toohill- cut

Positive note, the O-line played the entire game which I was certain wouldn't happen.

- Jeffrey Laurie was there, watched the entire game and looked to be ok with it.

- predictable and stale play calling. Mentioned it before, it looked like not only did the cowboys knew it was coming but they ran better routes than our WR's/TE's

- abandon  the run / Trick Plays / Hurts / unreal.

- Eagles are the only team with out an OC

- Fulgham should flirt with 100 catches every year for the foreseeable future

And I'll end with a conspiracy theory....

I get the vibe that Doug's suggesting to Wentz to run more/hanging him out to dry more to get him hurt.

Who is Jeffrey Laurie?

Eagles are going to be just fine so long as they bought good earbuds and learned the head nod walking in and out of the Locker Room to their cars.

NFC is still wide open. This isn't college

He's best friends with Alshon Jeffries and Matt Collins.

Ray Didinger on the Eagles place in the NFC East: "It’s like winning a spelling bee against a bunch of dyslexics.”

I used to like Al Michaels, but Collinsworth’s idiocy is rubbing off on him — plus he’s way over the hill.  He needs to retire like Emrick did

I don’t think they’re terrible like most everyone thinks. But, I did find it amusing that Michaels said "still waiting for an officials signal” after the onside kick. Boger clearly pointed our ball. Did he think the 2 teams decided that it was the Eagles ball when our O and their D we’re on the field?

Philly Sports Media when they smell a QB controversy.

Not impressed by Reagor. He was the reason for that pick last night. He had a step on both dbs and gave up and slowed down thinking Wentz was throwing it out of bounds and instead the DB runs by him and picks it off. He had a lazy route against the Skins that lead to a pick week 1. This kid has a ton to learn. he gives up and gets lazy. Not very impressed at this point. Need to hope he just gets better with time and more coaching.

Four defensive picks in this year’s draft.  One on WFT but the other three active with 0 defensive plays meanwhile a UDFA that was cut and later signed to the PS gets 38% of the snaps.  Eagles really need to examine how they are evaluating players on that side of the ball.

Sentence 1 is correct.  He is a rookie who has played 3 games.

Sentence 2 is moronic.  This kid is the opposite of lazy.

WOW!  That's a unique take on the situation.

First 8 games:
2019 Jameis Winston 16 turnovers 30 sacks 59% Comp pct 50.9 QBR

2020 Carson Wentz 16 turnovers 32 sacks 58% Comp pct 50.2 QBR

Agree he slowed and gave up on the play, but I also think he is young, and not used to NFL level QB ability, which he can learn from. Same with Hightower, on the first deep pass, he slowed way down, i guess he was thinking he was going to out run Carsons arm, then ended up the ball was out in front of him....

Both are young and should learn. Hoping anyway.

It's really simple. You can't convince a group of people that have been brainwashed that it's truly so.

You want to be miserable. Enjoy your week.

Who cares what the Media thinks? Nobody.

Unless you believe you're Bane in a fight to the death with BATMAN ! 😆

I've heard it all now. The HC is trying to get his starting QB hurt.

If that was how he looks when he's happy i don't wanna seehow he looks like when he's pissed.

Who has given him a pass?

I'm just speaking in general.  For the most part I'm surprised TATE is actually on the same page here.    But he really has to look in the mirror.  Those were some bad decisions yesterday.   He said in the press conference he wanted to stay aggressive and give the guys a shot.  Cool.  But if there's no shot, there's no shot.  That's the issue.  He needs to understand sometimes it's just not there.

It achieves your desired goal of him on the bench.

Well teh football player in me sees the real life situations and play of this kid and disagrees. He runs lazy routes. This is not college.

You are right.  3 games into his NFL career, he needs to be polished and at full potential.  If he doesn't shape up in a couple more games, its time to cut him!

The sack Mailata gave up on the first pass.

Did he think there was a different pass peotection called or did Pryou screw him?

He took a step to his right at the snap which isn't usual.

That comment makes me understand you dont read full posts. I said he needs a ton of work and need to hope he gets teh coaching. But you read the few words you only want to read and post on that, lol.

Very. I admit it's crazy. but he'll have the most rushing attempts in his career this year.. and most look designed.

Or the fact that he is running for his life behind a crap OLine, throwing to deep roster receivers, and missing Sanders......but your concept is more "fun".
