So with that big win last night solidifying the Eagles playoff spot, who is Howie buying between today and tomorrow?

I'm not expecting many moves. If anything, we might move one player to try to get a lower round draft pick.

Lane Johnson has very good this year on the field. We miss him.

In the end they should be testing every player, everyday. They have the resources to make it happen. They just don;t want to pay for it and reduce the profits anymore. All about the $$$

They are

Sounds like Doug isn't going to bench Wentz anytime soon

We will give up a 4th rounder for a no name 3rd string LB with track speed. Then we will lose the div to the Redskins(Yes, I said it correct, the Redskins) in week 17. :)

Lol Doug was perplexed by the question of sitting Wentz for a game

Desmond King

Carson Wentz leads the NFL in Turnover-Worthy Plays with 23.
No other QB has more than 13

Who gets to bench Doug is my question? :)

A first for the year

I think he also leads in being sacked, hit, and pressured.

That's more on the Oline than Wentz though

Here's the thing... if he gave up a lot of points, he'd be getting buried.  They did what they were supposed to do, even when put in bad situations by the offense and Doug's decision making.   They took over after Wentz' first fumble already in FG range, and they got off the field giving up 0 points on that drive.   The defense did exactly what they were supposed to do.   Credit where credit is due.   They did their job.  They beat up a bad opponent.

That’s my point. And since I’m not a big fan of Schwartz I figured giving him credit where it’s due was in order.

Maybe, but I'm not moving an all-pro RT to guard. It's harder to find quality OTs. Draft some talented guards in the middle of rounds 3-5 to have them replace Pryor.

While I understand your point and it is entirely valid, in my view the key to having a good OL is to put your five best guys on the field at the same time. Both Herremans and Andrews were drafted to play tackle, as was Larry Allen with Dallas. The Eagles had good tackles at that time who couldn't play guard so Todd and Shawn moved inside. Same with Dallas. In our current case, neither Dillard nor Mailata can play guard.

I think a line of Dillard, Lane, Seumalo, Brooks, and Mailata would be incredible. I'm sure you're right, though; it'll never happen.

Yes, of course. It is hard to evaluate QB play without considering the play of the OL.

It's on both, wentz has ran himself into some sacks, held the ball too long on others.

Not all the time. He holds the ball too long or doesn't throw the ball away. Its a combination of poor QB decision making/oline/ play calling

Doug said he tells Carson that. That is coaching. Doug isn't telling Carson in the press conference.  He is telling him that during practice or in the film room.   If your boss tells you to take steps to prevent problems and you continue to do the same thing, that is not taking to coaching. This is pretty basic.

Doug needs to clean up his own house

Some of his playcalling is downright embarrassing

The fact that they think its a good idea to work in Hurts where Wentz has legitimately always played like an AllPro (the RZ) is just further indication that their coaching is perpetually a work in progress.

Look at the diacrepancies from week to week regarding personnel packages, length of passes, snap counts, etc.  We have no identity and they seem to be learning on the fly

What price did the Titans pay for King?

That's what I was envisioning.  Big and athletic.  Can you imagine that line.

It sure seems that every one of the 300,000 assistants gets a week at game planning.
