Scott was killing it in the 1st qtr last night then Doug quit giving him the ball.

Doug allows Duce to control the RB rotation. But, yep, Duce rotated Clement in there after Scott ran the ball 15 yards. You would think that Scott had just ran it for 50 yards and needed a breather. But, the substitutions always seem to lack rhyme and reason.

Yeah that's what we need in Philly, a QB controversy.  Surely that will resolve our problems

I know, I know, back in high school you got benched and you had to work through it and learn your lessons and look at you now.....

What about the investment in Wentz?

Its not courageous to scapegoat your QB when the coaching is half-arse at best.

They need to work this out together and if they cant, it will say much more about the coaches than Wentz, who is clearly talented and has years of film playing at a pretty high level

They should have never drafted Hurts, and bringing him in to get +/- 5 yards isn't worth it at all.  Almost half the time he comes in, its a dead play or a loss of yardage.  Stupid.

A Hurts offense would look more like DiNucci than Wentz last night, only able to move the ball through gimmicks

At this point it doesn't matter. How can a coach look their players in the eyes and tell them they are doing everything they can to win if they keep playing a QB who's playing as one of the 3 worst in the NFL. It's questionable if he even outplayed DiNucci last night. That's how bad he was. His turnovers are off the charts bad.

A good coach plays his best players. The NFL should be a meritocracy.

Unless this season isn't about winning and if it isn't, why did they bring back older guys like Curry and Peters?

I want them to get a high draft pick, so as far as I'm concerned, keep playing Wentz and let him ride us right out of the playoffs.

But they need to see what they have in Hurts going forward. What if he takes over and plays great? If he doesn't they've lost nothing because Wentz blows. If he does, then you structure your offseason around him going forward.

Could the Eagles win a playoff game? Sure, bad playoff teams win games. Turnovers happen, bad bounces, QBs having off-days, etc.

This team will still need to be lucky to make the playoffs. Washington might be better as at least they have an identity.

Even Orlovsky is losing patience with Wentz.

He's right tho.  Carson keeps saying after the game at his PC that he has to play better, be smarter. Stop saying and start doing!!

do you want this team to win or is it about your ego with wentz? who cares about the investment? redskins traded up for rg3, got injuried, let him go, cards traded up for rosen, he was a bust traded him to the dolphins, then they traded up again to get murray and it's paying dividends, if they kept rosen for the sake of it, they would have been a dumpster fire. it's the reason why this team is trainwreak because wentz apologists like you dont want to admit the mistake and move on and rather see this team sink and hope wentz becomes the next superstar qb, which he's clearly not.

if you are picking wentz then you dont care about this team winning a sb.

Tampa to name one

Saints

Cards underrated team

I get it any given Sunday, but scared shirtless,? may have been over the top

Neither Tampa or New Orleans are any serious threat in 2020.

Brees can barely throw the ball 8 yards and Brady will fold like a 10 year old beach chair in crunch time.

They'll never do it, but if they care about winning they should use the bye to get Hurts ready and start him next week. This isn't a small sample with Wentz and he hasn't been the same since the knee injury. You drafted Hurts for a reason. They used a 2nd rounder on him, it's not like they used a 7th. That's a big investment. He looked really athletic on some runs a few weeks ago. He throws a decent ball. Fing play him.

They never will because Doug is either too much of a coward or Howie's ego won't allow his multi million dollar man to be benched because it'll mean he made a mistake in extending him.

This is asinine.

Tampa is probably the best team in the NFC, 2nd best in the league

I think playing a bottom 3 QB who leads the NFL in turnovers and made the worst defense in NFL history look like the 85 Bears all because you gave him a lot of money is asinine.

Play Hurts.

A good coach is playing his best players. Your opinion that he looks kinda athletic nyuck, nyuck, doesn't make Hurts a better player

A good running back would have had 150 yards rushing last night.  Scott is just ok.  He definitely isn't a good running back.  He missed a few big runs by the angles he did or didn't take.  Clement is garbage.  I need to see more Huntley.

I'm not even sure Sanders is the future

Brady has 6 superbowl wins, pretty sure he functions fine in crunch time.

I get your point but they gave Wentz a nice extension where those other guys you mentioned didnt.  If Wentz was still on his rookie deal right now then maybe they'd move on with the way he's playing.

Bottom line is there has to be a change.  Either Wentz goes or DP and his coaches go.  They dont mesh together.

Name a more complete team in NFC, balanced on both sides of ball?

You can't

Keeping Wentz on the field with Hurts packages is the problem unless they're BOTH in the backfield. Then there's a pass-pass-run option, so defenses have to play honest.

But using Wentz as a WR is a waste, as it takes away a passing option AND signals a run. So Hurts "looks" bad, getting stuffed as a runner.

Tampa stinks. Nobody in the NFC South concerns me.

Seattle concerns me and Aaron or Goff if they get hot.

I really don't understand why we haven't seen this. I don't really get why they split Wentz out wide? I mean sure Hurts is more likely to beat teams with his legs but it isn't a trick play. It isn't some surprise. Hurts lines up under center, Wentz is out wide. We know Wentz is only going to block out there he's not going to be targeted. Its just one QB for another, no special package.
