I really don't understand why we haven't seen this. I don't really get why they split Wentz out wide? I mean sure Hurts is more likely to beat teams with his legs but it isn't a trick play. It isn't some surprise. Hurts lines up under center, Wentz is out wide. We know Wentz is only going to block out there he's not going to be targeted. Its just one QB for another, no special package.

They want to be like Saints with Hill

Even on some of his nice runs, if it was Sanders, they would have been big runs.  The holes were huge.  He does not have the acceleration you need to turn a 5 yard run into a 20 yard run.

Oh i'm not trying to compare him to Sanders. That's a night and day comparison

I'm just trying to figure out why Doug quit giving him the ball

Tampa stinks. Nobody in the NFC South concerns me.

Seattle concerns me and Aaron or Goff if they get hot.

Seattle is horrible defense

4 of rams 5 wins came from nfce

Aaron as in Rodgers? The same one tampa whooped 38-10? That one

LOL. They've beaten the packers and you're claiming them the 2nd best team

Power rankings in the league, i have them 6th or 7th. Maybe 8th.

But sure man, Tampa's the best. Which is why there going to be a wild card team lol

Name a more complete team in the nfc

Who gets to determine that theyre more complete? you? the Buccs fan. lol

Lets see if they can even get out of their own division before we crown them lol

Points for points against defensive offensive metrics

Not a difficult question, name a more complete team in the nfc

Did Bradley play last night?

Wow a rarity. Larry, curly and moe of the blog are arguing with each other today.

Tampa's as good as any team in the NFL. Complete team, offense and defense. They look like the new New England. Weapons galore on offense, run game, OL doing well, Brady looks better than he has in a couple years, defense is good on all 3 levels.

I like the dedication to the game

He very well could. He rarely takes wicked shots. Yesterday was the first time in a while i even remember him getting hit the way he did.

No, I've been largely quiet .....

they wont beat the seahawks. the Saints, Id probably pick Rodgers and the Pack if they had to run it back.

Tampas the NFC's version of the Buffalo bills.

Answer my question,  one more time..name a more complete team in NFC. No need to respond with anything other than a answer to my question.

You know Vegas is open. Heck in PA now you can do it online I think.

Bet the house on Brady winning the NFC.

I dare ya

When healthy? The Eagles for one.

if you flip flopped schedules, Brady would be 4-4.

Eagles have been crap. No excuses but truth is if they didn’t lay the egg in the Football Team game there’s 75% less suicidal iggles on Nov 2

Wilson has no life.  Wentz should invite him for a duck hunting trip in the summer.

This play was annoying. It's 4 and 3 and Wentz is staring down Fulgham I believe when we have the bunch set with Ward and Reagor both immediately open for the first down.

I can’t listen to the video right now but i hope Thomas talks about pryor and asks what the hell he is doing on that play. I’d guarantee the play didn’t call for him to go help kelce block and allow two free rushers through where he was supposed to be blocking.

At this point it doesn't matter. How can a coach look their players in the eyes and tell them they are doing everything they can to win if they keep playing a QB who's playing as one of the 3 worst in the NFL. It's questionable if he even outplayed DiNucci last night. That's how bad he was. His turnovers are off the charts bad.

A good coach plays his best players. The NFL should be a meritocracy.

Unless this season isn't about winning and if it isn't, why did they bring back older guys like Curry and Peters?

I want them to get a high draft pick, so as far as I'm concerned, keep playing Wentz and let him ride us right out of the playoffs.

But they need to see what they have in Hurts going forward. What if he takes over and plays great? If he doesn't they've lost nothing because Wentz blows. If he does, then you structure your offseason around him going forward.

You mean look those same players in the eyes who are missing tackles, blowing assignments, dropping passes, etc?

Every single person in that locker room knows that Wentz is their only shot to go anywhere this year

Theres no reason to see what they have in Hurts right now, they created that problem and we're in the playoff hunt, you can just bench your QB to appease fans

imagine working for the org. and actually calling them out, without losing your job.  i think dave, as well as the coverage crew are allowed some ability to criticize the team, but they cannot be overly critical.  or at least be beat writer/tater level in their assessment of the team.  like they cannot lampoon the team / coach / players even if they do head-scratching things.  and maybe have to end any criticization on something upbeat, instead of calling something for what it is.

i bet even dave may have his days where he questions what he's reporting or saying to the masses.  somewhere inside is still the dave that spat on the dallas star.

Yup.  He has to sell some stuff that he likely doesn't believe, but that doesn't bother me much.  He's just an extension of the PR department.  The PR department's job is to always put a positive spin on anything the team does, or to do damage control when its so bad that they can't find a positive spin.

I'd be very happy with Dave's job, even if I had to do the same things he does... and sell things I don't believe to keep it.    Better pay, better hours and better perks.  I'd actually be PAID to attend the games, and be in better seats than I'd ever had and be paid to travel with the team, get all-access passes... really a sweet gig Dave has.   I'm sure it comes with its own set of headaches, but I don't think that there's a true Eagles' fan that wouldn't love to do what he gets to do, at least for a full season to try it out.

I'm not saying they are winning anything, I'm just saying they are currently the most balanced team in the NFC metrics  backs it up

I’m not coming off it even with that Miami loss ( I’m a tua believer)

Rams are best team in NFC.

They just cray cray

Doug allows Duce to control the RB rotation. But, yep, Duce rotated Clement in there after Scott ran the ball 15 yards. You would think that Scott had just ran it for 50 yards and needed a breather. But, the substitutions always seem to lack rhyme and reason.

Scott did fumble the ball out of bounds at one point, and if there's one thing that drives Duce crazy its ball security.  So, that's likely a big reason we saw so much more Clement in the second half.

do you want this team to win or is it about your ego with wentz? who cares about the investment? redskins traded up for rg3, got injuried, let him go, cards traded up for rosen, he was a bust traded him to the dolphins, then they traded up again to get murray and it's paying dividends, if they kept rosen for the sake of it, they would have been a dumpster fire. it's the reason why this team is trainwreak because wentz apologists like you dont want to admit the mistake and move on and rather see this team sink and hope wentz becomes the next superstar qb, which he's clearly not.

if you are picking wentz then you dont care about this team winning a sb.

Idiotic

The Skins and Cards have done nothing, they are irrelevant franchises until otherwise noted

And no, fans like me have nothing to do with the performance on the field.  Fans like you, on the other hand, is what earns this fan base our bad reputation, constantly calling for the backup QB for no reason other than youre out of ideas

I’m still pulling for the ask evil Dave spadaro section on the new EMB. I feel like it would be a great parody and answers Dave typically wouldn’t say.

Even Orlovsky is losing patience with Wentz.

He's right tho.  Carson keeps saying after the game at his PC that he has to play better, be smarter. Stop saying and start doing!!

Well... he has to say something at the PC.  Better that than to storm off like a petulant child, like some other QBs have done.  I just want the doing part.   I don't really care that he repeats the same mantra over and over again.  It would be nice for him to clean up his act though.

On the Orlovsky front... I'd love to see him brought in as the QB coach.

this is the problem with Eagles fans...

1) Should of punted

2) should of called the time out

3) shouldnt try to be cute and do the rush to the line

4) should of ran the ball

5) FINALLY we get to talk about Wentz' and what he did or didnt do.

I have no idea what your point is but it's should have
