Stidham should have ALWAYS been the starter there for how their roster was constructed.  Signing Newton basically said that Stidham sucks, because having Newton as the starter is just spinning their wheels -- there was no future there at all.  They will be in the QB market at the draft

AKA Cam sucks so bad I can't even cheat to win with him here.

I think you will be surprised then.

Or you will. Not saying they're not pretty good. I'm saying they're not as good as any NFL team.

Maybe we can trade Wentz to New England and Hurts can come win MVP and get us our second SB trophy.

Can't wait to embarrass the National Media once again this year.

Bayless and Sharpe just talking trash about the 4 Turnovers.

Yes Turnovers are Bad but both of his picks were in Dallas End Zone.

Not exactly the same as what Cam did.

I'd rather have 5 meaningless Turnovers to one..... it's the end of the game, my team needs Six and gave the other team a pick six.

ALL TURNOVERS are not created equal.

I think ... people tend to look for "the reason" for something but when something is complicated there isn't any one reason - it is a combination of things, and in this case, many things - and that's what makes it frustrating - we want "the answer" but none is forthcoming.

He was a good QB in high school.  Little short for the NFL though.   A little old now too.

San Fran is done for.

@Bacarty2

Not the best bet you have ever made in your life.

Actually, Edwards was decent in coverage in college. (10 interceptions and 15 PBUs, not great but not inept).  He is not fast so instincts can’t always make up for that lack of speed.  Funny thing about Gerry is he was good in coverage at Nebraska and a thumper as a hitter. But he would misplay angles at times.  If TJ can get to the opposing player, the tackle will be made.  Nate, sometimes.  Nate should be a third down LB, an Ike Reese, if you will.  TJ should be starting

Now Nate is out with an Achilles injury.  Anyone who has ever strained an Achilles knows if hampers your running and jumping significantly.  Easier to deal with a low ankle sprain. Only solution for a bum Achilles is rest.  Putting Gerry on IR was the right thing to do.  Three weeks may not be enough.

Gerry isn't nearly as smart as Ike was as a LB though.

Regarding Carson Wentz.  If he was on another team.  Would you be scared he was going to beat you or would you be excited that your defense was going to be able to get pressure on him and cause turnovers?

Sorry I can't argue with people who with a straight face believe Roger Staubach or Warren Moon were ten times the QB Brett Favre was because they didn't "turn the ball over " as much.

LOL

what was the bet?

San Fran or Eagles, who will have the better record at the end of the year.

Maybe search through your posts to find it.

Has someone made such a proclamation, and I missed it?

He never even looked there for some reason. He glances at Scott then just zones in on Fulgham. Not sure why the primary read isn't Ward/Reagor in the bunch set. This is what opposing offenses do to Eagles and it works all the time.

That’s on the coach for making the RB the first read. Then it’s also on the coach for calling the play with 15 seconds left on clock and leaving Wentz with 2 seconds after the huddle to read the defense and see the opportunity in the middle. Then it’s on Wentz for not reacting fast enough on the play.

It very likely could come down to that tie. Niners still have Dallas and Washington left. I’d win both puts them at 6-10. Eagles if they beat Dallas, Washington and giants would be 6-9-1. Lol

Skip and Shannon are spending an hour complaining about Wentz's turnovers.

Yeah sure and the previous 5 years when he had the lowest INT rates they were falling all over themselves about making him the MVP?

Knock it off. Carson has not played well this year. He's pressing. But the Cam Newton Turnover was worse than anything Carson did in the Dallas game.

Depends on what team. I'd either be indifferent or scared. In either scenario though you are basically hoping bad Wentz shows up.

Now Skip Bayless just said that Andy Dalton is better than Carson Wentz.

No wonder almost half of America is batshit crazy

We'll see how it goes the rest of the year but it's like Wentz plays to whatever level his competition is. Against bad teams he's bad, against good teams he plays better (we still lose but he plays better)

What people look like defending Carson Wentz at all costs.

There's absolutely ZERO QB controversy on the 2020 Eagles.

Carson Wentz is the QB no matter how bored the Philly Sports Media is this year ..... ROFL

Punch a guy in the helmet and probably hurt yourself in the process, 2 games. Use your helmet to aim and scramble an opposing QB's brain, no games.
