Not good but at least they are on a bye which should limit contact tracing.

Going into week 9 seeing our first positive test, I think anybody would take that

Daniel Jones and Gettleman are basically tied at the hip.  I don’t think any other GM replacing Gettleman (if he’s fired after the season) would pass up Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields because Jones is on the team.

Personally, I would run to the podium to draft Trey Lance to replace Daniel Jones if I was the Giants GM

I would take all three over Daniel jones and look to deal jones to a team hat wants to groom him behind an aging QB. I think Lawrence, fields and Lance are all better prospects than jones was and higher upside. I’m not a huge fields fan however. I would either take Lawrence if i were at one or if he fell to me. Or trade back and get some extra picks to get Lance a few picks later.

I saw a notification from the Eagles app and thought it was going to be another bye week injury like last year

At least it's the bye week. Everybody can just stay home!

Yeah we have a lot of morons in our fan base. It’s really evident on Twitter and Facebook groups.

And that's what the Eagles and Spads were pushing us to

Well, I guess someone better test Schwartz's female family members then.

I assume he's promised to one or is the cabana boy with Gerry for them.

I feel bad for Dave. I’m guessing he would’ve liked to keep the boards but he really is just a foot solider in this. Plus the eagles screwed him over and over by making everything that made the web site great and giving it to either McPherson or just getting rid of it

You know you missed me.

I’m going to rake and burn leaves.   Anyone in the RDU area.  IM me and bring a rake.

Mulch them. If you have a good mulching mower it is the best fertilizer there is.  Or compost them. Makes awesome soil for gardens.  I just blew them away from the fence. I have a pile of the pine needles that I will mulch down and spread under the rhododendrons and azaleas.  They love that acids nature of the needles.

Well turnover prone means interceptions and fumbles. He was only fumbling but they haven’t had an absurd amount of interceptions over 3 years. He had 14 turnovers, 13 turnovers and 10 the last 3 years. An average of 12.6. I don’t consider those numbers turnover prone. So turnover prone this year would be accurate for this year as he’s at 16 halfway through a season. He wasn’t turnover prone last year when he only had 14 total turnovers. He’s on pace to have 32. That’s turnover prone.

does he have a fumbling problem? Yes. I never said he didn’t have a fumbling issue. However he’s only turned the ball over in the three past years those many times. That’s not turnover prone. Regardless of any argument you wanna make with he fumbles the ball, he’s only turned it over on average 12.6 times. Which is one of the lower rates in the NFL over that time.

Close to one fumble a game. (Some the Eagles recover). Worse fumbling QB in the league. The interceptions are new but explainable.  Back up OL, already a long time to read.  New WRs.  Doug’s long pass calls.  I think both are curable but the interceptions will probably cure first as he has shown no willingness to solve the fumble problem.  Remember the year Tiki walked around with a football asking people to try and knock it out?

Well we know the WRs are safe.

I was doing some quick research a little while ago on long field goal attempts by opposing kickers against the Eagles. For years it has always seemed like they never miss. It turns out that this is pretty much correct.

At 55 yards, it's basically a coin flip for an NFL kicker. That's where the odds tip at 50%. So anything above 55 yards is going to be a less-than-half proposition. But of the last NINE attempts that opposing kickers have had against the Eagles from over 55 yards, they have made each and every one. Nine in a row. At less than 50% odds. Every kick this century from long distance has been good. Just think about that.

It's staggering.

Imagine betting on black 9 times in a row in roulette and winning each time. It's ridiculous.

Very optimistic — Antonio Brown was already with Brady last season, in NE ..... how long did he last there?

The notion that a veteran QB, or any QB by himself, will keep Brown from being a psychotic is preposterous

He may not even need to do anything else.  I believe Brown still has 2 rape allegation cases still hanging around out there.  Really glad that he got his 6th chance though.

I was wondering about this while watching Zuerlein from the Cowboys kick in bombs in swirling winds like he was riding a bike.

Thank you for looking that up.  That is exactly how I have felt before each and every one of those kicks for the past 20 years, including Sunday night.  The one in Tampa 7-8 years ago is the one that sticks out to me the most.  I think that game winner was the record at the time for longest kick ever, and I was certain he would nail it right down the middle.

Mulching only works if you don't have ton of leaves.  I also have a very tall magnolia.  Those leaves really can't be mulched well.

I think he agreed to a plea deal and plead no contest to the charges.  He's on 2 years of probation.

Nah, just team record, I think.  Record is still 63 yards I think.  That was merely 61 or 62, IIRC.
