Are you new here?

From ESPN:

HENDERSON, Nev. -- The Las Vegas Raiders have been fined $500,000 and stripped of a sixth-round pick in the 2021 draft and coach Jon Gruden has been fined an additional $150,000 by the NFL for what one source described to ESPN as "brazen and repeated violations of [COVID-19] protocols."

Where does this fine money go?

I have no idea. I will accept it gladly, however.

Wow.

Aaron Rodgers has only turned the football over twice in 8 games.

Fulgham’s contract is up in Feb right? What kind of contract could we expect to see for him given that it will be a small sample size?

He’s an exclusive rights FA, so I think by that the Eagles can retain him pretty easily on a minimum contract. I could be wrong there.

But I’d say he gets/is worth something in the $2-$5 million per year range at the moment. If he continues to show out and hits in the ballpark of 1000 receiving yards, that number could be higher

He's signed through 2021

Didn't i read somewhere that Doug was pulling them all in for a practice this week?  Maybe there was a new flavor of ice cream introduced at Nova Care?  If there was a practice, have we heard anything about injured players...?

They came in Wednesday for a walk through and meetings. By rules they have off from Thursday until Monday but have to stay near and come in everyday for testing.

By saying someones attractive and that I know her.

Ok?

If pointing out Paul Domowitch's daughter as a "butterface" and outing them for banging their teacher in high school isn't creepy, then maybe I do belong in this world.

That's kind of the point. You see teams, players and coaches getting fined. Does the money go to an owners slush fund, to a worthwile charity or somewhere else.

It would ne interesting to find out.

If you ask the NFL it goes to a foundation to help former players.

Fulgham has done well for the team.  Give him a fair contract that reflects his production and organization's appreciation.  Short changing him is not mean and will leave a bad image to players on the roster and in the future.

They can't, this is only his second year in the NFL.

Fulgham's contract could be tricky. He's playing at a top 5 WR level right now. But, even at the end of the year, the sample size is small. Most agents are going to point to recent production and organizations are going to point to lack of sample size.   Also, it will be interesting to see how the Eagles tender him as a restricted free agent. I think they will have to tender him as a first rounder if he keeps up this production.

Not that it matters much for Dallas since Zeke is having an awful year. They might actually be better leaning on Pollard more.

It's going to be simple. He's going to play next year under his current contract. Then he will be a RFA and the Eagles will have 2 years of sample size to know if he's the real deal and to judge his market. Then, the tricky part is do they hold off another year for cost control, or sign him long term. If they go the tender route, and he's real, no reason to not give him a 1st round tender. This year it's only $1.4M more for a 1st vs a 2nd round, so it should be relatively the same in two years.

But we could have had Fulgham and Metcalf!!!!

year after year the league shows us not to pay these running backs and year after year someones dumb enough to do it

I tend to agree. It's not something for us to worry about today but we will probably be moving on from Miles Sanders after the 2022 season if he is looking for contract like the one McCaffrey got from the Panthers.

So who got hurt Wednesday?

Rumor is that Wentz got eye strain from watching video of his turnovers.

Eight weeks in and two Eagles players have been named weekly NFLPA Community MVP.  That something to be proud of Eagles fans.

Steelers are going to obliterate them.

No one but Epps had COVID so there's that

Only Raiders? I seem to recall other HCs not wearing mask properly on Sunday

I was wondering if they were going to start taking away draft picks

Should they rely on Sanders in 2021 when he keeps getting injured seems to get tired quickly?

For sure. I don't see any way they are even competitive unless the Steelers completely overlook them which I don't see happening.

Any betters in here taking Steelers -14? I honestly cannot envision a scenario in which Dallas scores at all but if I had to guess I’d say

Steelers 37

Dallas 6

I don't think they should go into the season without a viable #2 RB. Scott does some nice things but I don't want him to have to start every game while Sanders is out. I was of the belief they should have drafted someone this year, perhaps with that 2nd round pick, but Howie had other plans.

How is it only -14? I'd jump all over that
