Watched the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame inductions tonight.  Doobies.  The in memoriam was soul crushing. So many contemporaries and musicians I grew with.

Very few bands remain great through multiple eras with different front men — Doobies and Genesis are the two that immediately come to mind.  AC/DC could also be included, although I’m not as big a fan of their work.

:offtopic:

Bruce has put out some great music of late but why did he wait so long to record with the E Street Band.  I miss the Big Man and can almost hear where he would come in but Letter to You says a lot about what 70+ year olds have left to offer.

As a ND fan, I was upset at that decision. And they had the same option after scoring a touchdown in overtime. Instead, they kicked the PAT (twice) and opted to try to win it in double overtime. I figured the odds would favor Clemson there. But things went in favor of the Irish.

BTW, if anyone ever tells me than Ian Book is a good prospect, I'll just laugh.

Not a fan of AC/DC?  I have a pretty wide range of musical tastes.  Not a huge fan of rap, techno and don’t like opera but that is pretty much my don’t play list. AC/DC is kind of Australian Live Rust.

My brother has tarnished by ear toward them.  He says Brian Johnson sounds like Donald Duck, and I can hear it a little bit for some reason 😂

Yep I agree with you on that. After the first touchdown in overtime I would’ve went for 2 and the win again.  It worked out for them in that instance but i want to put the game in my offenses hands needing just two yards to win when Clemson looked gassed after giving up 91 yards in just under 2 minutes.

I said last draft that D needed to be addressed.   I still believe Wallace is our "strong”  (I prefer down) S of the future. I think Taylor is still likely our WIL of the future but am concerned he hasn’t had many D snaps.  Bradley is a back up and Toohill was a roll of the dice.  I actually think the Eagles have some MIKE talent in Edwards and possibly Bradley and Singleton as a MIKE/SAM although there is surely room for improvement. Can you imagine if TJ had Gerry’s athleticism?

If he did, he'd have been a top 3 round pick.

Honestly, none of this matters if Wentz doesn't take care of the ball. His fumbling has nothing to do with chemistry.

Wentz held on to the ball too long, which led to sacks and fumbles, a large part due to the receivers did not get open and he was trying to extend the plays or force the pass into tight coverage.  Better in sync and knowing each other's tendency will alleviate the problems.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in RD1 please, assuming we win the division. He's just like Patrick Queen; a little undersized, but explosive and instinctive as hell. He can play at WLB or MLB, which means he could play with Edwards, Singleton, Taylor, etc. It just makes too much sense.

I don't want OL in the first 2-3 rounds. We have too many bodies as is. This is a year to draft WRs and defense.

Then I’d worry about his release.

I swear some people are just never satisfied.

It isnt about "bodies" at OL, its about talent.  Mailata looks to have talent, Dillard is still an unknown but has some pedigree.  Seumalo is abive average.   The rest have really aged themselves out of the picture for the long term, and none od the other younger players have proven to be truly starting quality yet.  If you want Wentz to progress, give him the OL to let him believe in them.  Sure, they might be fine for 2021 without addressing it, but likely not 2022, and certainly not beyond.  Or do we want to watch as Brooks and Johnson end up like Peters... old and broken down, unable to finish games while taking snaps away from future replacements?

You don't honestly think the Eagles will draft a LB in the 1st do you.

They'll draft another Pac 12 WR. It works so well for them.

Penn State is real good.

For what?

Not NCAA football as they have demonstrated.

Read is wrong at first, lol. Still just a dumb suggestion. Dont like race having any influence. Just seams like a bad idea.

He’s a cheerleader. I’m hoping they bring back O’Brien. Best PSU coach in the last 20 years.

I had that thought but I don't think it'll happen. O'Brien was not happy with the "Joebots" at Penn State. O'Brien will probably get another job in the NFL but with limited authority over personnel. He wasn't doing bad until he got GM duties, sorta like da Chippah.

It was sarcasm homeslice

Should teams also get better starting field position after a kickoff if they start a black qb?

What about one mulligan pass interference per game if you start a white cb?

Maybe a couple million cap relief for a starting white RB?

What about moving a black kicker 5 yards closer to the uprights?

Just wondering how many interesting racist tweaks we could plug into the nfl.

For 2021, we have 3 OTs, 2 good OGs, a good C and 2 competent backup iOL. As long as Kelce returns, we'll be drafting a backup.

Moreover, Stoutland can actually develop late-round OL. Give him talented late round picks and it'll work out.

So the incentive here is to hire then  fire minority coaches.

Whether they're being developed isn't important.
