I had that thought but I don't think it'll happen. O'Brien was not happy with the "Joebots" at Penn State. O'Brien will probably get another job in the NFL but with limited authority over personnel. He wasn't doing bad until he got GM duties, sorta like da Chippah.

Any chance O'Brien joins the Eagles as a OC or QB coach?  We know he wont coddle Wentz.  He used to get into shouting matches with Brady.

The worst news of 2020 so far

We should use Alshon in the red-zone. He's better than Ward there and allows us to use Fulgoat/Goedert in the slot.

It's a good idea so dont expect the Eagles to do it.

What ever happen to earning a job?

In essence what the league is saying is , owners are racist.

Problem is there are many minority coaches in the NFL that are assistants and position coaches that deserve at least an interview and dont get one.

Owners are going to hire whoever they know and feel comfortable with.  But there are guys out there that could be the next Mike Tomlin or Tony Dungy.  They just need an opportunity.

I think I’d rather the Eagles hire someone like Brandon Streeter — QB coach, passing game coordinator, and head recruiter at Clemson.  He’s worked with both Deshaun Watson and Lawrence, would be hungrier, fresher and cheaper.

Their OC Tony Elliott would also be excellent, but that would seriously ruffle Duce’s feathers

A great Canadian, and American, whose career goes back longer than I’ve been alive.  He will be missed.

I’m not the sharpest; the first time I saw Jeopardy I didn’t notice right away that the contestants had those little clickers in their hands.  I thought after Alex read the question, one contestant had their screen light up at random, and they had to answer that question on the spot or lose points 😂

As much as i loved trebek on jeopardy, one of my favorite moments came on SNL with will ferrell doing his impersonation and he showed up during it. The fact he battled for a year and a half with stage four pancreatic cancer and still managed to do some shows tells you just how strong minded and how much fight he had. RIP Alex trebek

Not all HC's are allowed to hire their own staff.  I believe Doug is a perfect example.

Doug wasn’t allowed to keep his own staff.  Sounds like he was allowed to hire the replacements and create his bogus coaching structure though.

Wow this year just sucks

Yes. Yes it does!

Why do you say that though bud?

I actually think bucs OC deserves a HC job, but I think he is the replacement for bruce.

I think Raheem Morris deserves another shot, Falcons should be 3-0 under him,if not for Gurley bonehead play.

There is 2 minority candidates, imo

It looks like the Giants and WFT are playing rugby.

Oh without doubt. And too many other issues we have all faced. Not seeing friends and family like we used to. Not being able to do the things we used to. So many issues.

That would be a decent idea for a show. It would be like high school all over again

Seattle’s defense is awful. Josh allen on pace to throw for 600 yards and 8 tds right now.

For 2021, we have 3 OTs, 2 good OGs, a good C and 2 competent backup iOL. As long as Kelce returns, we'll be drafting a backup.

Moreover, Stoutland can actually develop late-round OL. Give him talented late round picks and it'll work out.

Yes... it can work.  As for who is or isn't returning... we don't know that Kelce will return.  We don't know that Brooks can, even though he's doing great in the rehab process.   Nonetheless, the draft isn't about the upcoming season, it's about the future of the team.  Brooks, Johnson, and Kelce are all aging, oft-injured (Kelce, excepted) players who make massive money and offers little value for the buck when injured.

So, they need to get younger immediately at the OL position, and having some youth in the chute will be a good thing... getting them sooner than later.  So, while I agree, that this team 'needs' CB, LB and DE for 2021... for team building, OL is the bigger need moving forward to me.  OL is a greater piece for sustained success in the NFL.

And, again, I am not advocating a first round pick on OL sight unseen, but I absolutely am advocating considering it depending on how the board falls.

And... that's another ugly injury for a Washington QB.

Can someone answer this question.  I didn't get to watch Clemson/ND and I know that Trevor Lawrence was out because he tested positive for Covid 2 weeks ago.  I watched the highlights and he's on the sidelines (in a mask of course) with his teammates, behind the coaches, in their ears.  What's even the point of holding him out of the game?  If he can huddle up with guys and talk to them in his civies then he can do it and lead his team on the field.

Then you have ND fans storm the field.  The whole Covid thing still makes no sense to me.

Covid makes sense, the responses to that makes no sense.  Highly arbitrary and capricious.

Allen injury looked bad

Lawrence was no longer positive, but he hadn't passed other medical protocols associated with it that were required to be able to play.

I still don't get it.  What medical protocol?  If he can be around the team he can play in my opinion.
