McCaffrey injured again. You really can’t pay RBs big money, cold as it may be

They've been running him into the ground too

Another Miracle at the Meadowlands.  I forgot about this game.  Two random observations.

1. How did we survive without seeing the score and time constantly on the screen?

2. Cunningham was a horrific passer.

Looking back, yea not having a score bug or even a first down line.  So many advances.  I think they are adding too much to broadcasts now .  The new shaded green area of yards to first down throws me off.

Randall wasn't a great passer but even watching Chris Simms it's just crazy to look at how much the passing game has changed and how skilled quarterbacks are now.  He looks like he just has a noodle arm.

I'll add one more thing.  Seth Joyner should be in the HOF.

Kelce is possibly the best we have had, but Todd was good, no doubt

Kelce is pretty good, no doubt but after the year where he couldn’t block nose tackles, Stout made some adjustments.  I can tell you that he misses Brooks and is probably happier than we are that Ike is making his way back.

Getting Isaac back would significantly help the screen game.

Herbig and Pryor do not have the necessary movement ability.

For what it's worth, Todd Herremans may have been one of the best blockers in space we've ever had here.

Shawn Andrews was pretty good in space, he was athletic and explosive and could get out and busy some people up.

Jordan found and has read TATE it seems

Part of me thinks that with Ike back that in a tight formation with fourth and one or goal to go at the one that Mailata in the fullback role couldn’t be stopped. Imagine his stiff arm.  With AR reaching for a play from the forties last year and Press and the Philly Special that Doug has some trick play for him.  Sure looked like Ward wanted to throw that ball on his run against the cowpads.

Bring on Brady. We saw how the Bucs did against a fierce pass rush last night.

My guess is Jets or giants will bite. Still on a rookie contract and might garner a comp pick.

I’d rather Huntley get a shot at the return game.  Haven’t you all heard?  That’s where all the cheap shots are made, in the return game. Can’t get Reagor hurt.

Can Huntley field punts.  He was back for a kickoff against the cowpads and I was not impressed with his decision.

I thought this was interesting.

Glad to see someone at least acknowledge the fact that Richard Rodgers did indeed signal for a fair catch. I've hated the implication that the Eagles had no clue they could call one, when there was clear evidence that they did.

I like the yellow line and the playclock, everything else I can take it or leave it

My biggest gripe for broadcasts nowadays is that most color commentators will NEVER STFU and let us watch the game

If you havent watched a broadcast with Schlereth, avoid it at all costs.  Hes one of the worst offenders

Phil Simms.  Chris is his son.   Randall had a strong arm.  But his delivery was so slow and he was inaccurate as hell.

Oh geez, yea my bad.  Phil.

Randall had a wind up slow delivery for sure.  Even when he had success with the Vikings.

What really sucks is that announcers were there to tell us the story of what was unfolding throughout the course of the game.  It's an art.  Doc Emrick, who just retired from doing NHL games was the ultimate storyteller.  Sadly, I lump sports broadcasting in with the media and journalism nowadays.  They want to entertain, be liked, have a wow factor or seem like the smartest people in the room.

Now you get retired players who just wanna talk talk talk.  Look how much I know about the game, I'm not just a dumb jock.

He was pretty good at kick returns in college.  He has the wiggle and the speed.  Put him on a  machine catching punts for two weeks.  He certainly has to be better than Clement and Ward.  Both are terrible.

Watch his Arizona bowl game in the return game. He was awesome in that game as a kickoff returner.

"Illegal _____ in the back, offense. 10 yards from the spot of the foul. Re-play first down."

Question is whether he actually ran with the ball playing Rugby.

I've been dieing to see him line up as a TE and catch a pass down the seam.

The safety just might run the other way.

  Nice call chief

So you’re one of those guys that gets but hurt when someone disagrees with you and then embarrassed yourself with bs like this, arguing with everything they say. First of all it’s a joke and calm the F down. Second of all watch how rugby highlights. He’d never break one but he’s get more to the 40 than anybody else on the roster.

Kickoffs are not punts.  Different ball.
