The above is a known issue, a good pollster adjusts for this, and changes the way they approach the collection of the data. Pollsters have been oversampling the urban centers and under sampling the suburbs and rural areas as well. I watched a number of informational videos on this.

Hmm, that's interesting.

People are afraid to voice their real opinion because of the repercussions they may receive.

Until you change that, the polls will never be right

It seems like you need to change out your aluminum foil cap.

YIKES.

Nike is really reaching for storylines in these uniforms.

It's not a good look when you turn on a game and you have no idea who either team is.

Why black? They look terrible.

Hightower exemplifies the problem with the Eagle offense, he consistently gets separation, but struggles to track the ball, basket catches instead of using his hands, probably has made numerous route running mistakes - but that's pretty typical for a 5th rd pick at WR - on a deep team he'd be on the bench for two years, and wouldn't start until he proved to his coaches that he's fixed his flaws.

Boston Scott is a great change of pace back, but if you don't have big holes, he's not going to power through cracks and consistently get you 3 yards on inside runs, so he bounces everything outside - and the league sees that.

When you have to field Croom and Butler . . .

I'm literally laughing you think the Rams and the Eagles conversation is in the same stratosphere.

I'm literally sad that you don't see how having only 2 original starters from the plan to start the year might have something to do with this... and yet... the Rams and their super high powered offense... have exactly 7 more points than the Eagles in the exact same number of games.   The Rams' high powered offense is scoring just under 1 point more per game than the Eagles...

Rams 24.1 ppg
Eagles 23.25 ppg

Yup... not even close.

nice more name calling.

You’re saying be more of a man, and those are your actions. You were taught those things are being a man?  Or did you learn that all by yourself?  Wake up kid being a scumbag and being a man aren’t the same thing.

You defend everything Eagles, except for Wentz.  I can set my clock to it.

(At least) 75% of my posts about Wentz have been positive over the last several years.  Granted, about 25% (probably less) may have been somewhat critical...but most of those had more to do with the theory that Foles would have been a better fit for this offense vs being critical of Wentz.

I've repeatedly said that I think Wentz is an incredibly gifted player...and I've actually defended his poor performances to an extent this year because I have stated on several occasions that I think he's been "playing hurt" to some degree.  I believe he's turned the page and I expect that we will see a different player moving forward after the bye week.

We can disagree. Thats fine.

Just to be clear, if you think there are repercussions from answering polls, I think that is a paranoid delusion.  Pollsters are looking for accurate samples in order to forecast accurate results.  There are some campaign affiliated polls that will ask questions in order to sway opinion but often they are just looking at feedback on messaging.

Because... black is the new 'cool' color.  It made Jerry Glanville cool when he went to the Falcons and he convinced them to be black and go to a stupid black on black helmet... and then he could dress like Johnny Cash all the time (not bashing Johnny... he was the man).   But, now when any team wants to get edgy or look tough... they have to go to black.   So stupid and predictable.

3) thanks for the private message asking to see paystubs, my wife and everything else that makes you feel better about yourself

4) have a good one bud.

You’re just a joke bro. You’re the one who wanted to run your mouth about being more of a man. Ok, keyboard warrior, put up or shut up. What’s it going to be. Show me how you’re more of a man.

Doug won a Super Bowl with a backup QB.

Doug was an Alshon Jeffery drop away from going back to the NFC title game with a backup QB and half the roster injured.

This offense has only looked hopeless with post-2017 Wentz. Let's see this offense with someone else under center before we sacrifice the coach that finally got us over the hump.

You Penn Staters out there, tell me about Pat Freiermuth.

Complete TE.  PSU could be becoming TE U instead of LB U although Parsons might argue with that.  Probably the best TE in this year’s draft but it is not a great year for TEs.

You've been sucked into the Troll Hole. He won't acknowledge any context or subtlety, no matter how much logic and stats you throw at him. No matter what, Reich is the reason for 52, and McVey dominates Doug in every way. Don't bother with him.

Says the guy still crying about getting called out for something days ago?  You’re not important enough for anybody to care what you say. You don’t get that

Yes, I think Doxing is real and an issue in this country.

Doxing is an issue but it has nothing to do with political polling.

Off topic, but any gamers in here? PS5 releases this week, mine is supposed to arrive on Monday and I'm pretty pumped. Anybody else getting a PS5 or Xbox?

Doug is not the problem.

It's like blaming the conductor for crappy music even though the musicians stink.  Yeah, you could discuss musician recruiting and training.  But when the concert arrives, he is still limited in the type of music he can select and way it sounds.

The focus should be on our QB, health on offense, and lack of talent in the defensive back-seven.  You can throw in our cap situation, if time permits.

A. His name is McVay. Seeing the back and forth arguments is like reading about someone complaining about Jeff Laurie.

B. Jeff Laurie is a fine owner. Complaining about him is nit picking.

Biggest drop off in my opinion to Doug's offense is the screen game. Which can be partly attributed to the injuries at OL. Screens take timing and having so many guys in and out of the lineup are going to negatively impact the screen game. Screens are easy yards for qbs. Mcnabbs numbers are inflated by the number of tds and pass yards he got from screens and shovel passes.

Speaking of shovel pass had doug ever run one???

Mahomes has 6 tds off screens this year. Wentz longest play on a screen this year I believe is 7 yards and no tds to go with a ton of lost yards on screen plays.

If the o line can get some continuity then doug can help Wentz out with the screen game, if doug still doesn't call screens or he does and they suck then that's Doug's failure as a coach.

I know this is off-topic but the reality is that I doubt they will ever get polls to be 100% accurate.  It boils down to the fact that most conservatives are more likely to "hang up" the phone or not answer calls they don't know the number to while as most progressives are...and are more likely to spend 5 minutes answering a poll.

Purely conjecture...just an educated guess.

Who answers their personal phone from an unidentified number anymore.  Telephone polls just are not accurate.

Sounds promising.

They do?   Points for 193 - Rams.  Eagles - 186.  And... the Eagles have 4 backup OL starting every single week.  They have backups to backups playing on the OL.  They lost their top 2 TEs for multiple weeks.  Lost their top RB.  Lost their top WRs.   But, all you see is stats without context.    Like I said, you don't seem to be very good at math.    Correlation =/= causation.

Creativity needs to be curtailed when the OL are shifting around to new positions repeatedly, players are shuffling in and out of the lineup.  Their top performing WR was added to the roster after Week 3.  So, in the midst of that hurricane, the Eagles are managing to weather the storm in a terrible division and are starting to get healthy.   We'll discuss where both the Rams and Eagles are after the next 8 weeks.

Why do you guys argue with Mr. Rooney all the time?
