I wasn't a fan of Reagor at TCU and didn't want him in the draft. He has questionable hands and plays like he isn't focused a lot of the time. I think people will be disappointed with him. I hope I'm wrong.

Yup.

Just look at Tua from game 1 to game 2!

Also, Reagor was on a pitch count against Washington/Dallas coming off an injury, then got hurt against the Rams. He wasn't getting as many opportunities.

These are legit concerns. But from the Eagles perspective, they already passed on Metcalf once, why do it again with a player who has a chance to be a better version?

He clearly has a chance to be the kind of player who can make things happen with the ball in his hands, something this offense really needs. Having a player who can turn a five yard pass into a 50 yard pass will open things up for everyone else. For that, I think you can put up with the drops and lack of focus.

Geez, 2.4 yards per screen.  That's atrocious.  The Eagles were IMO one of the best, if not the best screen teams for a long time.  To be the worst now is saying something.

I think Wentz pulls a Luck and retires after this year.

If he continues to play like absolute dog ish this would be a win for everyone

I thought we'd know by know who it was

Watching the Masters from the 16th at Augusta is on my bucket list.

It’s an iconic golf course for sure, and the only course in the world that is the permanent home to a major, but it wouldn’t be near the top of my go-to list.  The course gets overpowered by today’s players and hitting the fairway simply isn’t a requirement there.

I get irked sometimes at the PGA pros, who have a track record of degrading and complaining about courses they think are too difficult or too penalizing.

It's what happens when you can't block, teams don't respect the deep throw and our guards can't get downfield on screens (and it's also asking a lot of Mailata, not the physical part, but the mental part, selling the screen then getting downfield.

We were a great screen team when we had Peters and Lane at OT, and Mathis, Seumalo and Herremans, Brooks at guard.

It doesn't account for the probability of improvement and expanded role.

Imagine extrapolating Tee Higgins first 2 games over 16...

It's just not an accurate picture.

More than likely,  over 16 games he would produce much more than that.

Wentz also completely missed him on at least 3 deep balls in those first two games.

Disclaimer: I do not wish Covid on anyone and am not hoping Schwartz is the one who has it.

But, would be interesting to see someone else make play calls on D. Who would step up for the next week or two?

It's a coach. They don't have to make it public by putting him on the list. Only way it gets out is through leaks.

Probably Burke

1. This is so unbelievably stupid, I can't even begin to imagine how this passed.

2. Let's retro this and give me 2 third round picks for Andrew Berry please.

I would think it’s a matter of opinion

Of course it would be... creativity is always a subjective matter.    He ran a QB sneak while using Jalen Hurts in orbit motion... I'd say that was creative, because he caused the defense to shift their eyes... which offers an easier crease.

Small sample sizes extended to a full season is just a vacuous way of filling the empty space of the Twitterverse.   What a meaningless exercise.

Well beneath what you'd hope for from a 1st round pick who needs to be the savior of the WR corps.

Nah.  No one expected him to be the "savior of the wr corps" in his rookie year.  Other than a few exceptions, it takes at least a year (sometimes two) for WR's to transition to the NFL.  Other than the QB position, it's usually among the most challenging positions to learn/transition from college to the NFL.

For every DK Metcalf there are at least 10 other guys that will take longer to adapt and perform at the NFL level.   And once you consider Reagor's "style" as being more of a "vertical threat/outside receiver" than a slot, it likely takes even longer.

Then add the fact that it was a shortened camp, no pre-season and unfortunately he got injured for a few games, no one should be disappointed with how far he's come along to date, imo.

Yep.

I projected him at 30-40 catches, 550-600 yards with 2-3 TD's shortly after the draft and there were posters in this very thread saying, "You'e dreaming" or "I wish" "He won't get the targets" etc etc etc.

Funny how opinions change 8 games into the season, huh?

Agreed.

And although the tweet was likely meant to be "positive" there are a good portion of fans who don't understand the WR position and the amount of time it takes (on average) for a college WR to become a bonafide NFL WR.  So there are likely naysayers thinking, "Well, that's not even that great".  Smh.

When in reality, it would be a fine stat line for a first-year, outside WR with his specific skill set, imo.

I’ll post it again...

Of the 17 WRs drafted in the first 4 rounds this year, guess how many have less production than Reagor?

Too many constant excuses.

So what?  It was an historic WR class...and there should be "stand out stars" among the class.

The season certainly isn't over yet but I would be surprised if Reagor were to stay healthy for the remaining 8 games that he finishes out of the top 10....and that's with him missing 1 quarter of the season.

3 and there's another 3 or 4 hovering around who have played all games to Reagors 2.5

Ironically, you were happy with the Reagor selection at the time.

Joining Iggles_Phan and me on the Jefferson bandwagon?  A little late for that like a MN Trump voter following Eric’s tweet today.
