This is true of every team

Fletcher Cox in his prime was a game-wrecker. He was awesome from 2014-2017. His play dipped the past 2 seasons, with the occasional dominating performance.

This does seem like a last-hurrah year. We'll see how much Ertz, Cox, BG, JP, etc. have left.

Cox was a game wrecker at the end of last season

I really hope Brooks manages to play a full season in 2021.  2 achilles injuries...he'll be 32.  If Seumalo has to transition to center...we are looking at new LT, LG, C with only Brooks and Lane as the holdovers...neither of whom is anything remotely close to an ironman.

1 offseason is not enough to rebuild an OL, especially considering that we won't have any DE's in 2021 and our only WR will be Reagor in year 2.

Yikes Howie.  Yikes.

Brandon Brooks is such a weird case.  He's been dominant as an Eagle but he's also had 3 serious injuries and Achilles injuries are no joke.  However, the guy has turned in to a physical specimen.  Look at JP.  He's looked Herbig sloppy from a body type standpoint for the past few years and still played at a high/above average level.  If BB can just stay healthy, he is one of he only aging players I look to hang on to.  Keep that right side in tact.

Part of the reason I've been so bullish on Ostman is I think he can be a nice rotation piece but we need to see him on the field.  Same with Toohill.  What I want to see this year is Josh Sweat continue to improve and show that he is not only a starting DE in the league but a DE that can make impact/game changing plays.  I want to see Toohill and Ostman (once he gets called up) show that they are nice rotation pieces that can come in on 3rd down and rush the passer or give the starters a breather.  Avery...I just don't know about.

Kind of digging the Browns Bengals Thursday Night game. This game hasn't meant anything since Boomer vs Sipe. Noyce.

I would assume that's why the game is on prime time in week 2.  Get that game in when it's still marketable before it's late in the season and each team is 3-9.

We'll put up 50 this week.  Over of all Overs this week. McVay , Pederson, Goff and Wentz can't wait to start the track meet.

Then again I only went 33-24... Feeling gun shy because I thought my over 40 week one was "in the bag" watching that 1st quarter. Didn't work out too well.

By layups, he meant missing on in rhythm throws to primary reads

Both videos are bad misses.

The 2nd one had a WIDE open DSJ for a 1st down, but Carson decided not to check down...again.

I really think a lot of this team's future hinges upon Quez Watkins and John Hightower.  Sounds crazy, but follow this through.

If Reagor is a bust, then the whole ship is going to sink.  They basically have 0 young talent in the pipeline, Wentz' career is completely wasted, and the slate gets wiped clean.  So we just need to assume that Reagor is going to be a stud and a great pick.

Desean is irrelevant moving forward.  Ward, again, is a set of hands who stands in the right place and will catch the football.  He wouldn't be on most rosters.  Ertz has one foot out the door.

All of next year's modest resources are going to go into rebuilding the OL with some DE help sprinkled in.

So the seeds that are currently in the soil are ALL we are getting for the next couple years to give Wentz better targets.  That's it.  So in 2022 and beyond, is this going to be a 2 horse passing game with Reagor/Goedert and a bunch of crap?  Or will Watkins/Hightower turn into something?  We aren't getting anyone else.  So we need to hope that these late picks turn into diamonds in the rough.  If they do, things might be looking a lot better for Wentz & Co.

Saints knock down Bucs. Lose best player. Opens up door for .... "The Falcons"

Muh Bears keep rolling.

AZ follows up after beating the mighty Niners.

All that's left for my NFC to keep developing like I said?  The Eagles have to decide to "start the season"  . It's alright fellas, it's a weird year. Your kind of dazed, stumbling week one offense can be forgiven.

I agree . I would have Watkins active on this roster.

Reagor takes that in for 6 if he hits him there.

You aren't kidding.  You can even hear DJack clapping.  A concern of mine is the more that stuff happens...how will DJack respond as a teammate.

Welp here I am, go back and watch the rams vs cowboys sunday and then go back and watch the packers vs 49ers last playoff.

You're an idiot.

I don't really have any concerns with Desean.  Between his injuries and his twitter misstep, this is his last contract in the NFL for anything but a veteran minimum try-out.  If he starts chirping, he'll never play football again.

The only thing I was looking forward to this year with Desean was him and Reagor proving to Howie/Doug what you can accomplish with 2 burners who generate separation...even if it was for only 8 games.  But if Desean is going to be a useless decoy and they are just going to heave prayers downfield, that point will be lost and everyone will prefer our old offense.

So I'd be just fine with him hitting IR sooner rather than later so we can find a way to accelerate the development of Hightower/Watkins.

The Reagor miss was on Reagor. It was zone coverage. He should have sat down.

He’ll post Pontius Pilate quotes on Instagram

If two throws are a little different Reagor has at least 140 yards and 2 TDs in his first game.

Both of the misses are on Reagor. He let up out of his break on the post route. The throw was perfect. The other miss was Reagor not recognizing zone coverage.

So the ignore list continues to grow and what a shock some of the same people from the old board have made it on there again.

So will the Big Ten be part of the playoff or are they starting too late?

The first one, sure. The one in the clip above, I'm putting on Wentz. Wasn't even close to Reagor.

Because he didn’t sit down in the zone, where he would have been able to work back to the ball. Probably not a great pass, but it looks bad because Reagor messed up so badly.

For what it's worth, I'd like to see Watkins out there instead of Hightower against the Rams.  Hightower didn't look ready yet against Washington.  Let's see what Watkins looks like.

He looks injured.

No they'll be in, what cracks me up is all the National guys just assuming it's going to be Ohio State or Wisconsin. Way we like it !!!

Which will get better. At least I believe it will. The guy has the makings of a stud and seemingly a great attitude

He's on IR right now though so even if we want to see him we won't for a few weeks.
