Ok.  moving on.

If Jefferson... no Fulgham.  No proof, but you can live and die with that assertion so that no criticism can be levied against the Eagles' FO, Howie.

Yah, I don't see how the Reagor/Jefferson decision affects Fulgham.

Fulgham had to get cut twice for us to get him.

The Eagles are reporting a staff member with positive COVID test, they did not state a coach. A Staff member could be an equipment guy, medical staff, training staff, could be the trash guy.  If it was a coach, don't you think they would have stated it as such?   Like "one of our assistant Coaches"  Not a Staff member?

Caplan and Mosher said its an assistant coach

Doug now also confirmed its a coach

andddddd Philly media is somehow again bringing up Wentz vs Foles and trying to make this a story, again, based on nothing, again.

These idiots need to come up with better questions.

Click bait HOT TAKE.

Why is the Philly media so obsessed with creating problems? Are they that hard up for clicks/subscriptions?

Because they're not journalists and it shows.

He isn't a deep threat outside receiver, he's more like Hopkins.

Which meant if you had Jefferson starting, they'd been more likely to be looking for a speed WR on the waiver wire than Fulgham, and even if they had signed Fulgham, odds are he never gets a real shot, maybe a few snaps as the #4/#5 WR before being sent down to the PS again.

There's a certain amount of luck involved, for both the player and the team, right place at the right time sort of thing

Jefferson ran a 4.43 to Hopkins 4.57. Hopkins is 22 lbs heavier.  Nope, I_P is right on this one.

If Foles had been lighting it up in Chicago, it would at least be worth the discussion and people could make salient points about it. That hasn’t been the case though. I watch a lot of Bears games. And for how much I appreciate Nick and what he did here, he’s really been struggling.

There are very few journalists left.

Thinking that Toth is the guy that goes when they activate Seumalo.  (Assuming Lane is ready and Driscoll is not far behind.)

Also, we are carrying only 7 DL.  I know they are protecting McGill this week.  But at some point, if you plan on playing into January, you'd probably want to get your 4th DT safely on your roster.

I think eventually he goes and they try to get him back on the PS. But we have 2 open roster spots, so don't need to cut anyone right now.

Crap draft? Perhaps. But definitely with an eye to the future.

Solid ST LB in the sixth, potential future starting G and interim swing OL, future Z WR, potentially a starting strong S, future WIL quite possibly who was drafted for future WIL, security at QB with solid back up.  Depth speed at WR, and if the knee is okay, quite probably a future swing T.  Crap draft?  Because we didn’t get multiple immediate starters?  I have said it before, the Eagles drafting philosophy is for the future.  Sounds like you agree

It's always an interesting take.  If your draft picks don't start, you had a crappy draft.  If they do start, it's because the existing roster sucks.

I call this Blogic.

Blogic is now enshrined in the Blog Dictionary.  I assume the same royalty charge as Yup.

Yeah this is such a non-issue. Everyone knows that Carson is the QB and Nick Foles was never coming back here after 2018. The fact that they asked the question 3 times is pretty absurd. And who cares what Brett Favre thinks about it?

Regarding Reagor...

I am still okay with the pick. I get it. I still think he'll be contributing moving forward. I liked Lamb, Jeudy and Jefferson over him (didn't trust Ruggs). As it turns out, we obviously picked him.

Does it truly surprise anyone we take one of the WRs that can't stay on the field and has done next to nothing special when he's been on the field? Seems like a standard Philadelphia Eagle draft pick to me.

I still don't hate the pick and I still have confidence in him, but it's annoying.

Apparently it's very important that the head coach HAS to say the guy they kept and gave a $128M extension to is THE guy. The guy whose option was declined, left as a FA, and has already been traded once is NOT their guy.

I'm flattered to know that Blogic will now the same status as "Franchise QB" and "nitpick" in Blog lore.

Like seriously!?  Wow.  Pederson's FIRST answer was 100% acceptable and appropriate.  These guys really need to chill out with the Wentz vs Foles stuff.

Wentz is OBVIOUSLY OUR GUY...and no, he doesn't need to be coddled and reminded that he's our guy every time the word Foles comes up. Smh.

I am interested in seeing how the 2nd half of the season goes.  I actually think it was the correct fit for us for what we needed.  With Fulghum drawing alot of attention, I think Reagor puts all of the second thoughts behind.

I would be happier if the guy getting all that money actually made that question moot, instead of forcing the coach to defend it.

To me it just sounds like Doug respects both Foles and Wentz and doesnt want to seem like he's taking sides.

He understands Wentz is the more talented QB with a bigger upside(any day now) but Foles won a SB for him too.
