I would be happier if the guy getting all that money actually made that question moot, instead of forcing the coach to defend it.

The question is already moot. One guy is having a bad year. The other guy got benched for Minshew and is on the verge of getting benched for Trubisky.

I am interested in seeing how the 2nd half of the season goes.  I actually think it was the correct fit for us for what we needed.  With Fulghum drawing alot of attention, I think Reagor puts all of the second thoughts behind.

I'd much rather see Reagor on those deep routes instead of Hightower.  Hopefully Hightower can improve in that area and track the ball better but right now it's not good.  Use Hightower on slants and some intermediate crossing routes.  Leave the deep stuff to Reagor.

That’s just silly. Picking Hurts, Taylor, Bradley, Driscoll, Prince, Wallace isn’t looking to the future?

Not IMO. If they were looking toward the future then they'd pick someone to help Wentz out or help on defense

The QB factory line didn't help either

I love Foles but he's not a starter.  We got extremely lucky that he played as good as he did for those 2 games, the NFCCG and SB.  Perfect timing and good luck on our side for once.

Then again, maybe he's just a better fit for Doug's offense.

He's what he always has been. A streaky, high ceiling low floor QB. At worst he's the best backup in the league and at best he's a stop gap starting QB. And there's nothing wrong with being in that niche. Fitzpatrick and McCown have been doing it for 15 and 18 years.

Lol reporters definitely read this place

Things rarely work that way for us though

For one season it did fortunately.

Now they are asking Wentz if the Eagles should have kept Foles over him

Thinking that Toth is the guy that goes when they activate Seumalo.  (Assuming Lane is ready and Driscoll is not far behind.)

Also, we are carrying only 7 DL.  I know they are protecting McGill this week.  But at some point, if you plan on playing into January, you'd probably want to get your 4th DT safely on your roster.

No need to cut anyone since they've been at 52 players for about a week. I suspect that they went down to 52 in advance with the idea that Seumalo would be activated.

No.  It wasn't.

Also have an open spot with Epps being on the COVID list

What makes it passive aggressive?

3/4 NFC East teams in the top 5 of the 2021 draft

I know its not much but it would be nice to at least be .500 after Sunday.  It'll look better anyway.

Seriously?

If they asked me, I'd say, "Yup, then he'd have to answer these stupid questions and not me", and walk out.

4-4-1 lol

is that even .500? A little better or a little worse I’m not even sure at this point

Need to add another zero for the tie.

It's .5000

I just dont like being in a playoff race with a losing record.

If anything the tie makes it a little better I guess.  4-4-1 would still be .500

Is there something Carson can take before games to mellow him out?  Relax him a little?  He needs something to settle him down during a game so he can stop being Carson Favre.

It wasn't as straight up as I said, but that's what they were getting at. It was phrased as something like

R: "what are your thoughts on Brett Favres comments and do you agree with them?"

CW: ".... uhhh, what comments? I haven't heard anything, so, uh, do you want to tell me or give the gist?"

R: "that the Eagles should have kept Foles instead of you."

CW: *long awkward pause* "um, at the end of the day, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I guess. Ok thanks, bye"

Why is the Philly media so obsessed with creating problems? Are they that hard up for clicks/subscriptions?

Much like a lot of the actual taters on this very board they are Fing a-holes

Everyone remembers the NFC Championship game and no one remembers the near loss to Atlanta the week before.

I wish your hero had more "near losses" in the playoffs.
