So you want an Alpha to stop being Alpha mid play.

"punt instead" Such a stupid narrative.

If Wentz punted/threw it away every time he was in trouble this team would have 14 points all year

Why is it stupid to punt?  You'd rather he turn it over so the opposing offense has the ball at the Eagles 30 instead of their own 30?  To me that's really stupid.

I just want him to be smart with the ball.  Its proven to win games if you dont turn it over.  I dont want another Brett Favre.

I disagree, the conflict for me isn't a religious one, it is out of respect for all life- more of a moral one, and how I treat all life. I dont kill anything unless I absolutely have to for my own survival.  To me a life is a life, period. If it's an unborn child in one instance, then it is in all instances.  It's very hypocritical to call it an unborn child when the father tries to kill it, but just a fetus, or clump of cells when the mother wants to kill it.  Labeling them different is just a way of easing guilt/ a way to justify actions for what ever your agenda is, less population,  easier life for the mother, whatever the reason.  For some it is religious, because "Thall Shall Not Kill"

End of discussion- as I stated it was rhetorical. Not worth a convo here.

It is the height of arrogancee to make a statement such as this and then declare it the end of discussion. In my case, I choose not to discuss this issue but I do not therefore declare it at an end.

1) Theres nothing that indicates that the Eagles will win by 2 scores, let alone 5

2) The way Standings work has nothing to do with an individual score. Meaning the Eagles could win 100-0, if the Giants have more wins at the end of the year, they get the playoff spot.

Zero chance we get 8 wins. I'd say close to Zero chance we get 7 wins.

Dude, you're already 8-0. What the hell are you talking about?

It's never stupid to punt. BUT if this offense would go NO WHERE if Wentz never played hero ball or forced a play.

There's been plenty of scoring drives where he didn't play hero ball.  He doesnt need to do it.

One thing I agree on is they need to run the ball more.  It's been tough with Sanders out but that's the key to the offense having success.  But remember Wentz being an MVP in 2017 but most forget the run game was lethal that year too.

If they establish the run more than maybe that will relax Carson some and he doesnt need to play hero ball.

What if they can't establish the run? Are you seriously saying that Doug, Stout, and Duce wouldn't run more if they could?

HE NEEDS****

The Jalen Hurts experiment to stop

He needs better situational play calling

He needs for his coaches to not abandon the run

He needs his GM to get him better/heathier talent.  (he also needs to pray Doug uses them correctly)

Other than jalen i agree the other things will help.  Im playing jalen the way he has been.  He is dynamic and worthy of some snaps.  Yes it hasnt worked out well so far but the guy is a gamer and a weapon.

but he doesnt control those things you mentioned. He does control missing targets, forcing wr’s to make difficult catches w/ no chance of YAC’s, forcing throws when down and distance dont dictate the need, and foolish fumbles and  sacks.   Those are things he control lets start with that 1st

I always have to rest up after vacation

The Eagles with all their offensive weapons .... Sanders Jeffrey Lane Seumalo will start to play like the Offense they can be.

Look for them to hang 30 on the Giants.

Then they'll at least be .500 and people can take their heads out of the oven.

I just said it's been tough because Sanders has been out.

But even when Sanders was in there they dont run enough.

There was an article recently about how the Eagles are ranked high as far as yards per attempt but ranked low as far as number of attempts.  So they have success when running but just dont commit to it enough.  That's mostly on Doug since he calls the plays.

Which part do you disagree with?

Taking Wentz out in the redzone and 2 point conversions is incredible dumb.

Playing this wild card trash doesnt worth when you have a legit franchise QB. It only works with brees(who Doug wants to mimic) cause Drew cant make all the throws any more.

This isnt the 200? whatever dolphins when they had dogs!!t as QB.

You're the same guy who said hes sick of Wentz' turn over yet Hurts' fumble per snap % blows wentz's out of the water, so what it is?

I disagree with the part of your comments that wentz isnt a problem.  Its all coaching, play calling and the defense.  And hurts is a dynamic player and you want to get guys like him into the fold especially when your offense is is stagnant (to phrase it nicely)

i disagree that wentz should be given a pass on his play for any reason other than his own shortcomings especially mentally which he seems to be on a completely different page than everyone but himself (and fans like yourself of course)

im an eagles fan and a wentz fan in LA.  and i can tell you what football fans think of wentz right now.  Ive been trying to defend him reminding folks he has already been very successful in this league.  It’s getting really difficult to do.

For all you true 'younguns' out there... this is the real "Miracle of the Meadowlands #2".

https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/eagles-giants-miracle-at-the-meadowlands-clyde-simmons

Little known rule leads to an improbable ending to an Eagles-Giants game... at the Meadowlands.  Desean Jackson's punt return as a walk-off end to a football game, which is the only time in league history that a game has ended that way, is topped by the ending of this game.  Only twice in the history (recorded history, that is) of the NFL, has a TD been scored in this manner... and NEVER before (or since) in OT as a 'walk-off'.   The great Clyde Simmons... DE, who blocked for FGs... wins the game with a TD unlike any other!

9er fans, Ram fans, smart cowboy fans, Jets, Giants, You name it would take wentz in a heart beat and 99% of them thing this hurts expierments is screwing with his head.

Wentz has proven he can be good year in and year out. Doug has not

Or @Esage if you are on PC just hover over that user and you will see the ignore user option.

The big thing this team is still missing is a north/south run game. RB is the most underrated need of this team. Wentz/this offense has looked it’s best in 2017 and the 2nd quarter of last season. The big difference... Blount, Ajayi, Howard...
