It is the height of arrogancee to make a statement such as this and then declare it the end of discussion. In my case, I choose not to discuss this issue but I do not therefore declare it at an end.

LOL, So I am arrogant? :P We all have our opinions, I gave mine and am moving on. You gave yours, we all good. There are things I wont try to debate people on, because it gets too heated. But that also doesn't stop me from giving my opinion and moving on.

The big thing this team is still missing is a north/south run game. RB is the most underrated need of this team. Wentz/this offense has looked it’s best in 2017 and the 2nd quarter of last season. The big difference... Blount, Ajayi, Howard...

They wanted to go with Sanders as the lead guy. So far that hasn’t worked out

It's an embryo up to 11 weeks, after which it becomes a fetus.

https://www.medicinenet.com/embryo_vs_fetus_differences_week-by-week/article.htm

If you want to talk about wasting "potential life," young men should rape young women instead of ****ing, since they're wasting "potential lives."

Obviously we don't recommend that, nor would even a stanch Catholic counsel raising fetuses in test tubes to avoid miscarriages (1/2 or more of pregnancies end up in miscarriages, so God is the great abortionist), even though that would protect more unborn children than natural childbirth.

As far as late term abortions, almost all involve serious threat to the life of the mother, and are 1% or less of all abortions.

https://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/data_stats/abortion.htm

The conflict over abortion is religious, since it depends on belief in the existence of both a "soul," and that the soul enters the zygote at the point of conception. Which is why those who don't believe in a soul or belong to religious groups that don't believe a fetus is a child resent the religious imposing their views upon them (though few "pro-lifers" are willing to pay higher taxes to support those children after they're born, or even to provide better medical care to the mothers, so it's more accurate to call them "anti-abortionists").

Right.

So when you have a loved one expecting a child, do you say, "What do you plan on calling the "embryo/fetus" or do you say what do plan on calling your child?

I'm not debating whether it's an embryo/fetus or a child while still in the womb.  That's an entire debate that I'd rather not get into in a thread about the Eagles.

I'm stating that if you plan to have the child you will always call it a child.

I went with tax deduction.

Craig James is out. No other designation.

Also its Jeremiah Washburn who has COVID

There's no excuses: we just beat the Giants and should do it again

A shame Singleton can't truck him one more time

Washburn was the Covid positive coach.

its rhetorical.     moving on

Yikes.

With Ertz out, I hope we play 0 snaps of 12 personnel. Make Alshon the "TE" in 3 WR sets.

Honestly, I’d look into trading Sanders this offseason and investing in two downhill bruisers to pair with Scott. Not saying I’d necessarily do it but no way am I signing Sanders to a big contract like McCaffrey or zeke got. If he finishes the season healthy and productive, his stock will be as high as it’s ever going to be.

He can't sign an extension until after next year. May as well hold on to him for that year and trade him after if you are going that route.

What if they can't establish the run? Are you seriously saying that Doug, Stout, and Duce wouldn't run more if they could?

Usually the other team is trying to keep you from running on 1st down so they can get you into 2nd and long. Sometimes they succeed, then what do you do?

I just said it's been tough because Sanders has been out.

But even when Sanders was in there they dont run enough.

There was an article recently about how the Eagles are ranked high as far as yards per attempt but ranked low as far as number of attempts.  So they have success when running but just dont commit to it enough.  That's mostly on Doug since he calls the plays.

That's a highly misleading stat, because you can get a higher ypc average if you run on passing downs, whereas if you try to run on 1st down and can't block, your ypc will plummet.

We're 22nd in adjusted line yards (FO). We're actually pretty good in 2nd level and open field yards, which probably reflects what Scott and Sanders can do if you get them into the open field.

I'm sure you know the tax deduction comes no where close to covering the real cost.

I'm not sure that Clyde Simmons run for a touchdown would hold up to instant replay scrutiny if that play were to happen nowadays. The issue isn't whether the ball was picked up behind the line of scrimmage, which it clearly was, making it legal. The problem, I think, is whether he actually maintained possession of the ball as he crossed the goal line. It has always looked to me as if he was in the process of losing control when he extended the ball into the endzone. At best, it's inconclusive.

Pass on 1st....run on second.

Or at least mix it up a bit

WIth Alshon back? No they're not going to run a lot on first, at least not Early in the game. They're going to go back to what they "tried" in the Washington game.

They're going to try to take big chunks. If it doesn't work out after the first two series , they'll go back to this kind of game plan.

😁

IF IT IGNITES ? There's no looking back from here to the NFC championship game 😁😁

What about Seuamalo?

Change his number to 81 and call him Perkins?

He's still on IR, so he doesn't need to be on the injury report.

All signs point to him being activated tomorrow for Sunday.

To a degree. RB trade market isn't that good. I can't even remember the last big deal besides Trent Richardson. So it depends on what the compensation is weighed against that extra year you can use him and what you can get trading him on his last year of his rookie deal. I don't think it will sway that much. He also hasn't had a great first half this year. He could potentially have the big break out year next year and raise his value.
