That's  what I think. It was close to the line of scrimmage and Parcells probably thought it went past it.

Nah.  The issue isn't that its brought up, the issue is the frequency with which it is brought up.  That and who is identified as a 'miss'.   Agholor has been brought up this year.   Nelson... Agholor.    That dude was an albatross around the neck of this team since they brought him in, with the lone exception of his one truly good season, which was 2017.  2018 he was statistically good, but not as good as 2017.  And the rest of the time he hindered the team more than he helped it... 2015, 2016, 2019... so the fact that he's playing decent in LV in 2020 (when nothing is expected of him) isn't surprising to me.  He can't seem to handle pressure.  As soon as he's looked at as one of the top targets, he shells up and struggled.  But somehow, he gets brought up as a guy who could have helped this team earlier this season.  And that's just rewriting history.   So, we don't need people bringing up every single perceived 'miss' by this team, because frankly, some of them weren't misses.... Agholor chief among them (in terms of letting him walk).

Nah. I think Parcells knew it was recovered behind the line, or why else would he have been arguing "He can't advance it!"? I suspect he was just guessing that that might be the rule, that an advancement was not allowed.
