Do people still want to make the playoffs with 5 or 6 wins?

I don't know that this team can get to 5 or 6 wins.

That means 2 or 3 more wins.   That seems unlikely.  The Eagles barely beat the Giants the first time, and only had a chance to win because Evan Engram couldn't make a catch that he should make 99% of the time.  The Eagles tried to lose to Dallas after giving the ball away 4 times...  And the other win came against a QB that has no business in the NFL.

Are there 2 or 3 more teams like that left on the schedule?   They only play Dallas and Washington, plus 5 teams with winning records.  I don't see 2 more wins on the schedule.  3 is out of the question.

That said, they will likely find a way to 2 more wins, just because under Doug this team doesn't give up, for all the issues - the players fight for him.

You’re an idiot if you think it was all him today

It is on everyone involved that's been involved the last 3 years.

Maybe but we’ve watched how hard this team has fought for Doug to pulled off wins in games we had no business winning. Once it looks like he’s lost the locker room I’ll agree with you. But I promise you, there’s no way Doug gets fired this year. Smart organizations don’t do that. Lurie is patient with coaches, he even gave Chip an extra season he probably didn’t deserve.
Point is Doug has done enough in the past to earn at least one more season. A year from now this conversation could be different.

Might as well cut Malik.  Seriously.

Hurts should start next week. He won't, but he should.

That doesn't mean Carson Wentz was "to blame" for today. Who's "to blame" is irrelevant.

This offense needs a spark. It ain't happening with Wentz. But more importantly, because I don't even want them in the playoffs tbh, they need to see what they have in Hurts. What if the Eagles bottom out and find themselves in a position to draft a QB? Getting a look at Hurts would give them better insight into whether or not they should pull the trigger on another QB they like in the 2021 draft.

What is there to lose at this point, seriously? The Giants are a better team than them right now.

This offense needs a new coach.

You're still dumb too

Agreed.

But hey at least you can blame Wentz's performance this week on Kelce and the defense. Hero worship is cool.

God no

5-10-1 should get us top ten or close to it which is what this team needs. They need talent and a lot of it...

Pathetic

Keep being dumb please.

No.  Because even if we get guys back healthy there's still the question if there's enough time for them to get in game shape and build chemistry for a playoff push and we still have the same mess of coaches who seem to lack the ability to get the players ready to play so it won't matter.  I'm not buying this rubbish that anything can happen in the playoffs.  It's not there's some switch they can just flick on and start playing smart and well.  It's NOT going to happen.  Winning this division is like being the first car to have to stop at a long red light.  It's time to make some major changes and rebuild.

This has ARs last season vibes about it; Doug just looks overwhelmed and keeping up pretences.  It's sad to utter this, but Doug is increasingly looking like a Coach out of ideas and unable to find any new ones.  The franchise QB won't take coaching and it's hurting the teams progress.

What's the solution to a franchise QB who won't take coaching? Do you allow the next coach to pull the plug if Wentz doesn't take his coaching either?

as opposed to an idiot who thinks its Wentzs fault when they started every drive inside the 25, the oline stank, his center was hiking it at his feet, his wrs were droping balls that were hitting them in the hands, and the defense gave up 27 poibts to the NYG

You are goofy?

I really couldn’t care less about wins the rest of the way. I just want to see Wentz play better, the youngsters to improve and no injuries.

Let’s go get a top 12 pick.

Depending on cap ramifications, I think they ought to cut Malik Jackson on Monday.  At least send a message to the roster that you are evaluating who has a future with the team.

They need a new lot of things. But they have a new QB and we should give him a try to see if he can play.

There's a reason Carson went to North Dakota State.

In other news... Packers are about to lose to a 1 win team.

Your life would be too happy otherwise

Very disappointed in Pederson continuing to put Hurts out on the field with no design, no plan, no creativity at all — continuing to line Wentz up at WR as though he’s a viable target out there.  Doug is playing with crayons while the opposition DC are laughing at him.

The play after the Giants stuff Hurts to make it 3rd and 11, Wentz throws a one-yard pass to Greg Ward — hard to understand the offensive philosophy here.  The final offensive play on 4th and 16 is a seven-yard throw.  Not good.

The defense might not have gotten blown off the field, but they didn’t make anything happen today.  Daniel Jones looked like a Pro Bowl QB today, and that’s shameful.

Never said it was just wentz

But he blamed everybody but wentz

We are still winning the division.

This team is garbage. Garbage coach and garbage QB
