It's obviously early for Reagor, but where's the explosiveness he showed in college? He doesn't pop off the screen like others have in this class.

Even if you don't wanna knock Howie for that pick, just adding on Hargrave and NRC to Howie's many misses should be enough to cost him his job. If he doesn't lose it now, when will he?

This reeks of the Golden Tate situation--they have no idea what to do with him

Im so done with every single person who touches the gameplanning

Agreed. The run game was legit. Shame a team paying so much to a supposed franchise QB is better with the run.

Yep.  Washers advocate to run it more as if we should need to protect a $130M franchise QB from having to throw the ball competently.

I still think Reagor is a little too rocked up. Makes him better on screens/sweeps. So I'd like him to have less of an RB body and more of a WR body. Reagor is still separating though.

Of course, given Reagor's physique, you'd think we'd throw more screens/sweeps with him.

All for oline as well. Especially if Kelce retires.

Someone said something about moving Issac over to center when Kelce retires. Do we even know if that would work or should they just get a top center in the draft?

The coaches don't seem to be putting much stock in Mailata as the LT of the future.

I was disappointed they went with Peters again. It's like Sproles all over again

Lurie won't fire Howie until his own name and reputation come under fire from all angles.  That won't get really bad until they tear it down, Howie rebuilds it, and if/when the NEXT rebuild fails.

Lurie will still give Howie the keys to the upcoming rebuild.

The defense is bad. I agree but they need to make sure Wentz is the right guy. Two 2nds on Jjaw and Hurts isn't helping. It hurts the team. The offense is not fixed. The Oline might lose Kelce soon. Lane is aging. Build it up for whoever is the qb.

We are going to be rebuilding for a couple years due to Howie.

Yeah it’s really tough to pinpoint exactly what Eagles will do in 1st round. Everything is on the table except for QB, RB, and TE (unless Ertz gets moved prior to the draft) I think. DB and LB should get priority, we know they definitely won’t go LB though. I don’t think it’ll be OL unless it’s Kelce’s replacement. With Fulgham’s emergence I don’t think it’ll be WR either. I have a gut feeling they’ll go DE.

Every game since Fulgham has played, they’ve isolated him on a designed play and let him beat his guy and make a play. Except today. He barely saw the field. And they didn’t use Alshon the same way. Why? F-ing why? If Alshon is the better, more playable version, why? And I love Alshon for personal reasons which you guys know. But why? They took the league leading WR of the last 5 games off the field. Why? Trade value for Alshon? Nothing else makes sense. It’s inexcusable. Carson’s best throw of the season was to Boston Scott. His next ten best throws were to Fulgham. They didn’t play him. For no reason.inexcusable.

Well Groh is gone so... was it actually Doug that couldn't integrate Tate into the offense?

Coaching coaching coaching....We can blame the players all we want all the Eagles problems are pointing to coaching.

How about designing an offense thats not at a high school level, then we'll talk

Just consider that our offensive coaching staff actually think its a good idea to bring in a rookie QB in the middle of a drive and then run high school plays

Case closed, argument over.  Its the coaching, it sucks.  Lurie knows it, too.  The signs are all there.  He knows Doug is out of ideas and has basically no power in the locker room anymore

If the offense kept up 2017 levels in 2018, Reich would have been gone for 2019 anyway.

Running the football is easier for an OL than pass pro.   It's not surprising.

When you Washers have to claim a Super Bowl winning coach with tons of experience coaching and playing QB in the NFL is running a "high school level" offense, that means Carson Wentz really Fing sucks.

You're embarrassing yourself on here even worse than Carson Pyrite is embarrassing himself on the field.

The way they used Alshon today really is evidence that the coaches just don't get it.

I still firmly believe that Fulgham is more mirage than reality...but he has bene one of the most productive WRs in the NFL over the last several weeks.  And he's young.  To bring in Alshon over him, who adds 0 catches, and then Fulgham gets 1 meaningless catch after being our best weapon on offense for a month....it just shows the coaches are clueless.

Sproles, Peters, Alshon...the coaches have no idea when to move forward.  Part is on Howie for failing to provide options moving forward.  But the Fulgham/Alshon debacle shows they can't even do it when they do have options.

Are there any washers left at this point?

Yea when everyone wanted Jefferson, he was a guy I was secretly hoping for. I was hoping he’d last in 2nd for us to double dip at WR but that was crushed quickly lol

dude is going to be a baller

I genuinely think Carson will get back to 2017 form, but on the proviso that he has the structure around him where he realises that he has to play as part of the system, and isn't the system

Injuries at the very least, and possibly mental issues are what I see preventing him from ever getting back to that level. I doubt we ever see that type of play on a consistent basis ever again.
