Greg Ward needs replaced. He's not good enough.  He's okay but not good enough

A returner muffed a punt and they jumped on it.... I forget when it happened.

Definitely a JAG

If the offense kept up 2017 levels in 2018, Reich would have been gone for 2019 anyway.

Aye... but we'd have had back to back championship parades.

He's a good depth player, but not much else.

Yea when everyone wanted Jefferson, he was a guy I was secretly hoping for. I was hoping he’d last in 2nd for us to double dip at WR but that was crushed quickly lol

dude is going to be a baller

I had this crazy dream that they could land both Jefferson and Aiyuk.

I spend a lot of time talking about how useless Ward is (and he is), but I worry about figuring out who our two outside WRs are before I worry about our #3 target in the slot.

As a punt returner he's regressed... and isn't even that anymore.

I still can't believe we took John Hightower completely off the field for Alshon Jeffrey and Greg Ward.

When your QB is garbage it is irrelevant

Ward was a primary target today getting multiple screen passes... a guy with no wiggle or ability to make a guy miss in space.  I wonder if those would have been better with Reagor receiving and JJAW blocking with Alshon still on the inactive list.   Fulgham and JJAW blocking for Reagor is much better than Fulgham and Reagor blocking for Ward.

This is the first game since the second half of the Washington game that I thought the offensive scheme was bad. I don’t think Wentz was particularly good, but I don’t think he was why the offense struggled. We had bad snaps and a few drops, but I think we got away from the run too much and we rarely had open receivers. Of course when we did, we dropped it.

How about designing an offense thats not at a high school level, then we'll talk

Just consider that our offensive coaching staff actually think its a good idea to bring in a rookie QB in the middle of a drive and then run high school plays

Case closed, argument over.  Its the coaching, it sucks.  Lurie knows it, too.  The signs are all there.  He knows Doug is out of ideas and has basically no power in the locker room anymore

So our 130M QB can't run a high school offense? Brilliant!

Yup.  At least running him out there might open up the middle of the field a little more... or give you a chance to try the deep balls and hope he actually tracks and catches it.

When you Washers have to claim a Super Bowl winning coach with tons of experience coaching and playing QB in the NFL is running a "high school level" offense, that means Carson Wentz really Fing sucks.

You're embarrassing yourself on here even worse than Carson Pyrite is embarrassing himself on the field.

Dougs value was bringing whatever he could from Andy Reid.  Its over now.

Theres a reason he doesn't pick his own assistants, theres a reason they brought in a ton of help for him and have to do it every season now

Theres a reason he doesn't control personnel, or the draft, or really anything other than dialing up a bunch of average/questionable plays on game day

Theres a reason no one on our team develops and we have to rely on bringing in veterans or just blind luck from practice squad players

The league has caught up and flown by both he and Schwartz.  Its obvious.

Opeta and Pryor were so bad today. Maybe if they had slid Peters to Guard and let Malaita play it would’ve helped. You can’t play much worse than our Guards played today.

I think we had one deep throw the entire game (The Reagor throw in double coverage that should have been PI).

He's not alone in that... 10 others out there with him also struggled at that.

I don’t get why both played over Herbig? Doesn’t matter. The QB sucks

We ran for 156 yards. They couldn’t have been as bad as you think.

Yep.  Washers advocate to run it more as if we should need to protect a $130M franchise QB from having to throw the ball competently.

Its embarrassing. The gloves need to come off with this guy now.

Yeah sure we're just one QB away from this team really turning it on

Seriously?  This is a poorly coached team top to bottom

Wentz chucked one to Fulgham on a 3rd and 11 too, in the first quarter, I think.

In pass pro?  They weren't good.
